"Hey." Quinn smiled as she sat down beside Puck.

Puck kissed her cheek before getting up to kiss Rachel's cheek. "You two look great. What are you singing?"

"Defying Gravity." Rachel answered. "With Kurt."

Puck nodded. "What about you, Q?"

"I'm not." Quinn shook her head.

"Why not?" Puck asked.

"I don't know what song to do." Quinn said. "What are you doing?"

"You'll see." Puck told her. "After I get some alcohol in my system, I'm gonna go."

"I'm looking forward to it." Quinn answered.

Puck nodded as he stood up. "I'm gonna get us some drinks. We better get started if we're doing karaoke."

"Thanks." Quinn smiled as Puck walked away.

Puck returned with two beers and a wine cooler. "Guess which one is yours."

"Very funny." Quinn muttered as she grabbed one of the beers and the wine cooler. "Thank you."

"You're welcome." Puck replied as he sipped his beer.

"I'm sleeping in your room again tonight." Quinn warned Puck. "Rachel's gonna bring Sam back to ours."

Puck raised his eyebrow. "Really?"

Quinn nodded. "Is that okay with you?"

"Rachel and Sam? Sure." Puck nodded back.

"I meant me sleeping in your room again." Quinn rolled her eyes.

"Sure." Puck repeated as he chugged his beer.

"Go do your song." Quinn commanded.

"Alright." Puck nodded as he put down the beer bottle and got up.

Quinn grinned when the music started.

Please baby can't you see
My mind's a burnin' hell
I got razors a rippin' and tearin' and strippin'
My heart apart as well

Tonight you told me
That you ache for something new
And some other woman is lookin' like something
That might be good for you

Go on and hold her till the screaming is gone
Go on believe her when she tells you
Nothing's wrong

But I'm the only one
Who'll walk across the fire for you
And I'm the only one
Who'll drown in my desire for you

It's only fear that makes you run
The demons that you're hiding from
When all your promises are gone
I'm the only one

Puck was looking at Quinn, singing right to her.

Please baby can't you see
I'm trying to explain
I've been here before and I'm locking the door
And I'm not going back again
Her eyes and arms and skin won't make
It go away
You'll wake up tomorrow and wrestle the sorrow
That holds you down today

Go on and hold her till the screaming is gone
Go on believe her when she tells you
Nothing's wrong

But I'm the only one
Who'll walk across the fire for you
And I'm the only one
Who'll drown in my desire for you

It's only fear that makes you run
The demons that you're hiding from
When all your promises are gone
I'm the only one

Quinn clapped and cheered with the rest of the cruise passengers. Puck smiled as he came back to the table and sat down beside Quinn again.

"Can I buy you a drink?" Quinn requested as she grabbed Puck's arm. "You were really good."

"Thanks." Puck grinned. "Your turn."

Quinn nodded and stood up slowly. "Wish me luck."

"You don't need it." Puck shook his head.

Quinn smiled nervously as the music began.

Everybody needs inspiration
Everybody needs a song
A beautiful melody
When the night's so long
'Cause there is no guarantee
That this life is easy

Yeah, when my world is falling apart
When there's no light to break up the dark
That's when I, I
I look at you

Quinn couldn't help but look right at Puck. She didn't understand it, but she always seemed to go back to him.

When the waves
Are flooding the shore and I can't
Find my way home anymore
That's when I, I
I look at you

When I look at you, I see forgiveness
I see the truth
You love me for who I am
Like the stars hold the moon
Right there where they belong
And I know I'm not alone

Yeah, when my world is falling apart
When there's no light to break up the dark
That's when I, I
I look at you

When the waves
Are flooding the shore and I can't
Find my way home anymore
That's when I, I
I look at you

You appear just like a dream to me
Just like Kaleidoscope colors that
Cover me, all I need
Every breath that I breathe
Don't you know you're beautiful?

Yeah, yeah, yeah

When the waves
Are flooding the shore and I can't
Find my way home anymore
That's when I, I
I look at you
I look at you

You appear just like a dream
To me

When Quinn's song ended, she bit her lip as she walked back to the table and sat down beside Puck.

"That was really good, Quinn." Puck said.

"Thank you." Quinn replied as she took Puck's hand.
