Sitting in front of reporters and crowds of people was never a problem for Astra. Being a Stark meant conferences and crowds. So she grew up with it.

"Do you solemnly swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth?" Was asked with her hand over the Bible in the court room.

"I do." She replied, then being seated.

"Please state your full name." The first man told her.

"Astra Margaret Stark." She answered truthfully. Her voice was steady and unintimidated.

"Your file says you are alien." He said wanted clarification, a dash of fear in his voice. Of course, because if there's something you don't understand, you fear it. While for Astra, if she didn't understand it she would learn it.

"I am." She confirmed while keeping her face straight and unmoved. The pictures being taken and reporters murmured into their recordings were very annoying to her. Like bees surrounding a hive.

"And your abilities-" The man started asking.

"I'm sorry," She interrupted him as she tilted her head. The council members gave her some un-approving looks as they looked up from their papers. All thinking the same thing. No respect. When she had respect, but for those people that earned it. These men in front of her, so far have proven to be egocentric and against her. "I thought I was here for S.H.I.E.L.D.?"

"And for yourself." He corrected her in a way that she should have known and that she need to be silent. "Now your abilities-."

"My abilities are most likely alien." She interrupted again. The council member, of course, didn't like feeling inferior, and yet her she was, making it clear that she had the upper-hand.

"And you were raised here?" He wondered.

"My brother has more memories of being in space than I do." Astra's voice was like stone, yet a hint of amusement was there. Finding it quite funny at how uneasy everyone in the room was. "So, yes I was raised on Earth."

"Your record isn't great, Miss Stark." The man looked through a few papers in a file.

"No it is not." She replied plainly while shaking her head.

"But, you were there in the Battle of New York, as Asteroid."

They didn't think she was a hero like the others. Of course they don't. The moment her secret was out she lost the title of 'hero' to the public. She was different. Humans were already having problems with race on one planet. Add someone from a different planet and there's the discrimination and inequality. Yet, the brunette knew she may have done a couple terrible things, she was a hero. And she wanted other to know that. "Yes, I was with the other Avengers." She replied after a small pause.

The room was silent while the head councilman gave the other members a quick glance before moving on. "Next. Why haven't we heard from Captain Rogers?"
