After hearing Thor tell them all about Thanos, no one felt worse than Gamora and Astra. Gamora being raised by the Titan, felt even more hatred and guilt for him.

And Astra, everything she was scared of was happening. This is what her father and mother started, and she had to finish it. Without Alphine, she had no clue what to do, no guidance and just her hope to cling on to.

The brunette sat beside her Asgardian friend while he slurped up the hot soup. "The entire time I knew, Thanos he only ever had one goal." Gamora spoke quietly with a sort of mourning in her voice. "To bring balance to the universe by wiping out half of all life. He used to kill people planet by planet, massacre by massacre." Pictures of Astra's lifeless planet appearing in her head. The crumbling white buildings and decayed bones from the once beautiful creatures.

"Including my own." Drax added, the brunette adding a soft 'yea.'

Gamora started pacing with worry, Astra shaking lightly with fear when she stood up. "If he gets all six Infinity Stones, he can do it with the snap of his fingers like this." Astra's fingers snapped to show how simple it is.

"You seem to know a great deal of Thanos." Thor said, lowly and skeptically.

Astra kept quiet, not sure if she should tell Thor or not. She and Gamora held a look of guilt and pain when looking at the man who now had an eyepatch. "Gamora and Astra," Drax started. "Are the daughters of Thanos." Half of the celestialite was glad that Drax told him, half of her was not. Her grey eyes looked down at the floor, not being able to look at her friend.

Thor was quiet for a moment as he looked at the two assassins. "Your father killed my brother." He said angrily, standing from his seat and taking a few steps.

"Oh, boy." Rocket commented.

"Gamora's stepfather, technically." Quill added in a bit of an intimidated way. "They both hate him at much as you do."

Astra knew Thor wouldn't hurt her, at least, she wasn't sure at the moment considering his current state. She and her green sister stood their ground, Drax and Quill feeling an impulse to be their bodyguards. Thor placed his right hand on Gamora's shoulder as a friendly gesture and cupped Astra's cheek, looking between them with sympathy. "Families can be tough." He told them. "Before my father died, he told me that I had a half-sister that he imprisoned in Hel. And then she returned home and stabbed me in the eye. So I had to kill her. That's life though, isn't it, I guess. Goes round and round... I feel your pain."

While he told his shortened version of his story, Astra stared up at him with that classic 'what the fuck' look. And before she could actually say it, Quill felt inferior and also the need to one-up the god as he slickly slid in-between his girlfriend and Thor. "I feel your pain as well, because I mean, it's not a competition," All the guardians already knew what Quill was doing, sighing discreetly. "but I've been through a lot. My father killed my mother. And then I had to kill my father. That was hard. Probably even hard than having to kill a sister. Plus, I came out with both my eyes, which was..."

Astra cut Peter off, wrapping her arms around Thor's shoulders, well, she barely reached, even when balancing on the tip of her toes. "Peter, stop trying to one-up him, the poor baby's been through so much." She pouted, resting her head on his shoulder while he slurped his soup.
