Ravager Ship

January 17, 2016

--

"Watch your hands, or else you might lose them." Astra threatened the greasy haired Ravager that was dragging her along the hallway. His hands were wrapped around her bicep, dangerously close to breasts. And, oh, if he were to piss the girl off she would get angry enough to tear the tight ropes off, going all hulk on him.

The man ignored her and she was thrown into a rusty cell along with Rocket and Yondu. She fell face first, and struggled to get up without her hands. "We deliver you to the Kree in the morning." Taserface told them and the cell doors closed on them. "None of you will last much longer after that."

"Okay, Taserface." Rocket mocked and stood at the cell bars. "Tell the other guys we said 'Hi' Taserface."

"Rocket you're just gonna piss him off even more." Astra muttered, shifting her body to lay on her back, and from there she sat up. "Now, help me out of these ropes." Nodded her head to the ropes that still tied her arms.

Rocket sighed and walked over to her. "No offense, but your employees are a bunch of jerks." He told Yondu as his little raccoon hands began un-tieing the rope around her wrists.

"I was a Kree battle slave for 20 years when Stakar freed me." The depressed blue man mumbled barely loud enough to hear. "He offered me a place with the Ravagers. Said all I needed to do was adhere to the code. But I was young and greedy and stupid. Like you steeling those batteries."

"That was mostly Drax." Rocket lied. "Why, won't these ropes untie?" The little raccoon shouted in frustration and tugged on it, burning Astra's skin just a bit more and she hissed at the feeling.

"Those ropes need to be cut." Yondu muttered.

Rocket huffed and pulled away taking a seat beside the brunette. "Just our luck." She sighed and rested her brown head on the wall.

"Me and Stakar and the other captains, we weren't so different from you and your friends. The only family I even had." Blue man admitted, thinking back to his past. "When I broke the code... They exiled me. This is what I deserve."

"Slow down drama queen." Rocket mocked and stood up. "You might deserve this, but we don't. We gotta get outta here." He looked around the room for an escape.

"Where's Quill?"

"He went off with his dad." Astra answered.

Yondu perked up a bit, but not in a happy way. "Ego?"

"Yeah." Rocket affirmed. "It's a day for dumbass names." Yondu smiled and chuckled a bit. "You're smiling. For a second I got a warm feeling. But then it was ruined by those disgusting-ass teeth."

Yondu's smile faded into an annoyed expression. "You're like a professional asshole or what?"

"Pretty much a pro." Rocket shrugged proudly.

"Why didn't you deliver Quill to Ego like you promised?" Astra wondered out loud.

"He was skinny. Could fit into places we couldn't. Good for thievin'." Yondu answered. Astra wasn't convinced. Remember, she spent her entire life at S.H.I.E.L.D. and can tell when someone is lying. Yondu noticed how she could see through him, changing the subject. "I got an idea on how to get outta here. But were gonna need your little friend."
