Astra jolted up from her bed. Sweet trickling down her forehead as she tried to get her heartbeat back to normal. She turned her head to look at the clock. 1:34 a.m. Another vision woke her up. They started happening in her sleep not to long ago. Usually they aren't as terrifying as the one she just had. Which meant: Something's coming.

The brunette got off her bed, changing into a sports bra and tights. She put up her long hair in a ponytail as she entered the elevator. Yes, usually she goes to her safe haven but in that moment the gym seemed more appealing.

Once entering the training area she headed to the throwing area. Her hair turned white as Astra created a knife in her right hand. She flipped the knife and caught it once before giving a focused look at the target. She threw it with precision, the knife landing in the middle of the dummy.

She continued throwing. Starting off well, but eventually she threw recklessly. Just to let go of some of the frustration.

Words like monster, alien, freak, clouding her mind. The reporters, television hosts, strangers, all spreading false information on her. It frustrated her more than anything. Just going out for a run was a struggle, which is why she stopped going to the park. Or even if she just wants to have some food, there are glares and fear on anyones eyes.

"Astra!" Steve called after multiple tries, grabbing her left arm to get her attention.

The female not knowing who it was and on instinct she took the knife in her right and and tried to stab her 'attacker.' Steve on instinct, leaned back to avoid the knife.

"Steve?!" Astra exclaimed when realizing who it was.

"Yeah. Where you trying to kill me?" He exclaimed, as he stared down at her with confusion.

"I didn't know who you where." She defended with her tone strong.

"So your first response is to stab me?" He asked her. Astra didn't respond, instead letting the knives disappear and her appearance to turn back to normal as she began to walk away. "What are you doing up at 2 a.m. anyways?" He trailed behind her.

"I could ask you the same thing." The female fired back, stopping on her tracks and turning ho him.

"I'm a super soldier, I can go without that much sleep." He crossed his arms in front of his chest. "You do need sleep."

"What I do isn't you business." She retorted. "Besides I don't need as much sleep as you think." She turned, once again, to walkout out.

Steve grabbed her arm softly as she looked at him. "I'm worried about you." He admitted, his blue eyes looking at hers.

"Look Steve," Astra shook her head. "You have no reason to be worried."

"I am." He started a smile forming on his lips while he looked down at her, while she ignored the butterflies in her stomach. "All those late night talks." Right, the very personal talks they would have when either one of them were in need of someone to talk to. "You know how I feel about you, Ash."
