The brunette woke slowly hugging tightly to a pillow. She was still in her safe haven, a small storage room at the top of the tower. It had white lights hanging off the wall, as well as pictures of the sky and from visions she's seen in the past. The one's she'd drawn, she kept. She also kept a journal, to write down what she remembered. She had thrown blankets on the carpeted floor and a beanbag chair. Books, candles, pillows, a large teddybear. But the thing she loved most, was a telescope looking out the one, small window.
Astra came into her safe haven last night. Once reading another horrible article on herself, she moved up there to clear her head and look at the stars. She breathed in the sweet smell from her cinnamon scented candle and sat up. Running her hand through her hair a bit and went down stairs to the lab.
"Morning, Scooter." Her brother greeted her with her nickname once she walked in the lab. "Where've you been?"
"I've been thinking." She answered plainly. "Morning, Bruce." She greeted when she walked past him.
"Morning, Ash." He greeted back. "Wanna us with Veronica?" He tried to get her involved in their projects.
"Why do you think I came down?" She made an obvious face as she took a stop by one of the half-done parts and looked at the blueprints. She didn't realize the small smile on her face until Bruce pointed it out.
"What are you thinking about?" He made a quick glance at her, then back at his own thing.
"Just that," She look at the silver wires and the other pieces in it. "If you look at the way everything, it's like a constellation. From a specific angle," She took a step back and tilted her head a bit as she looked at the piece. "It looks like the Virgo constellation."
Her brothers chuckling made her smile turn into an simper. "You are such a geek." He muttered in a sibling insult kind of way.
"And you are a smug dork." She insulted back at him.
"You made the front page, again." Tony held up a magazine from the table.
"What's the heading this time?" She groaned, her pleasant mood gone already. "Let me guess. Can this alien be trusted? More crimes released!"
"No. It's actually: How Astroid Helped Save 20 million people." He replied while looking down at the magazine.
She looked over to him and she got excited. "Really?"
"No." He crashed down all her hopes as her eye's rolled and he continued. "It says: Why Don't We Have More Studies Being Done?!" He told her as she groaned, again. "And there's a really attractive picture, too. Got the double chin and everything."
"That was a little mean, Tony." Bruce told him.
The female stood up and took the paper. "In this past month I have only seen one positive report on me. And thats out of like what, 20 million" She was so frustrated with people. She saved the world from Loki and kept 20 million people from being killed.
