A few moments later, when Yondu was sure he won, Astra acted quickly. In a flash, she took the levitating arrow and imbedded it into a tree. That outta keeps him busy for a while. She thought, sprinting off to Rockets direction. "Fuzzball, we gotta go-" She warned, little too late as Yondu's arrow zoomed right in front of Rockets forehead.

"Crap." The raccoon mumbled.

Yondu came into view, chucking in amusement, with the whole crew approaching them in a circle. "Hey there, rat." He greeted Rocket.

"How's it going you blue idiot?" The raccoon was not amused. Neither he, nor Astra, made a single move, knowing it could risk one, or both, dead.

"Not so bad." He responded. "We got ourselves a pretty little gig here. This golden gal with quite a high opinion of herself has offered us a large sum to deliver you and your pals over to her because she wants to kill y'all" The men chuckled, hopeful for their money. "I tell you it was pretty easy to find you. I put a tracker on your ship back there during the war over Xandar." Then why didn't he come after us earlier?

"Give me your word you won't hurt Groot and I'll tell you where the batteries are." Rocket offered, his voice defeated.

"Lucky for you, my word don't mean squat." Yondu the other Ravagers chuckled in a threatening way. Astra narrowed her eyes as she looked confused. "Otherwise, I'd actually hand you over."

"Otherwise, you'd what?" One of the Ravagers spoke up, sounding quite pissed off. He was an odd looking man, human-like but also with scars on his face to look intimidating, Astra guessed.

"We'll take them batteries." Yondu continued to speak in a threatening way, like he hand the upper hand when he probably knew that Astra was forming a strategy in her mind. "They're worth what? A quarter mill on the open market?"

"That Priestess offered us a million." The same Ravager as before brought up. "A quarter is only one third of that!"

Astra's eyes went from threatened to irked as she looked at the scar faced man. "A quarter ain't a third." Yondu told him, a slight annoyance in his voice.

"A quarter is 25." Another Ravager with googles spoke. "You can't even buy a pair of boots with 25 units." While that man spoke Rocket and Astra shared a look that said something along the lines of 'These fuckin' idiots don't know a thing.'

"Enough!" Yondu demanded. "The point is, we ain't stupid enough to help kill the guardians of the galaxy! The whole dang Nova Corp would be on us."

There were murmurs of agreement and some of the opposite. "That ain't right!" One man spoke up. "I just gotta say this one time, Captain." Somehow, he had both a look of bravery and of fear while he spoke out. "No matter how many time's Quill betray's you you protect him like none of the rest of us much matter!" The Ravagers chorused with "yeah's" and other cheers of agreement. "I'm the one what sticks up for you!"

"Take it easy, Kraglin." It was a whole leadership problem that Rocket and Astra got caught in the middle of and didn't want a part of it.

"Damn straight, lad." The scarred man pointed at him in approval. "He's gone soft. Suppose it's time for a change in leadership."

The man raised his black, arm lengthened gun and pointed it straight at the blue man and the other space pirates lifted their guns as well to point at each other. Yondu whistled his arrow to float beside his head as a threat. "Put your damn guns down!" One Ravager threatened, guns in both hands

"Woah, woah." Rocket cried out, and got the attention on him. "There must be some kind of peaceful resolution to this, fellas. Or even a violent one where we're standing over there." He pointed to outside of the circle.

The tension was high and everyone was anticipating the first move. Yondu barely whistled when his robotic fin was shot off of his head. No one saw who too the shot until the blue man fell face first to the floor, Nebula behind him with her blaster pointed right at Astra. "Give me a break." The brunette muttered, a moment later her sister took the shot. She fell backwards and tried to endure the stinging pain. Until it finally got to her and she slipped into the unconscious state.

"Astra." A fainted voice echoed in her head. It was like a dream. I guess you could say it was. Astra was still unconscious, in fact, the shock from her sister only happened 5 minutes ago. "Astra." The voice sounded again, a little more faint.

She couldn't see anything everything was... dark and cold. But she was still in her head and standing on freezing water. "Hello?" She called out into the empty place.

"Astra!" The soothing voice call in desperation. Now the young girl could distinguish who it was. Her good friend Alphine, explaining where she was. "There's something you need to know."

"Alphine," Astra called out, her eyes furrowed together as she looked for the course of the voice in the desolate area. "How are we communicating?"

"I've broken many rules, child. Brought too much attention to myself and now I can no longer be a part of your journey." He motherly voice was still very much there, and almost saddened. "She has found me, Astra."

"Who?" She yelled out.

"There is only one way you can prevent your fathers plan. You may think you will have failed, but child you must remember to stand your ground." The voice was barely there by the time she finished her sentence. But, Astra heard everything. Even the faint cry for mercy and the water she was standing onto of began to turn red as the darkness around her imploded and her grey eyes jolted open.
