Ronan's Ship

It's been a few days over 4 months now since Astra has been found by her father. After her first month she showed a higher level of skill than the rest of her siblings. Not that she really wanted to, her time in space has made her grow in power. The name Astra would be whispered between planets as it was associated with fear, being the biological daughter of Thanos. Her markings and white hair made her stand out. Wearing it almost all the time to show that she was at a higher position among others.

Her relationships with each sibling was different. The Black Order was cold and jealous. At one point all 4 of them attempted to beat Astra at once. Though the fight lasted quite a while and ended slimly, Astra won, making the Order hate her more. Nebula didn't interact with her at all, the two only communicated with glances but never spoke with one another. Gamora was hard to read. They spoke, harshly. It was more of Gamora wanting the new sister off her trail so she sent cruel words her way. Plus, Astra did almost slit her throat when they first met, so things didn't really have a good start.

"Astra." Speaking of the green girl, there she was as Astra's door. "Ronan summoned us." Astra tucked her book right back in her leather satchel before sliding it over her shoulders and following Gamora out. The large book was a gift from dad about her planet and the people of Eve. The texture of it looked like it was carved out of an white opal with black writing one it. Very neatly saying Cosmicites. Being the last of her kind, Astra enjoyed it. All her peoples weaknesses and strengths where in it. Learning things that she never knew about her self, powers that she hasn't discovered. The girl shoved her thoughts away and focused on her task.

The place was always dark and quiet, surrounded by a gloomy feeling that tried to eat up all the good in Astra. Once entering the throne room she stood beside Gamora while Korath explained why the orb got away. "Master, he's a thief, an outlaw who calls himself Starlord. We have discovered that he has an agreement to retrieve the orb for an intermediary known as the Broken." Here was her chance, Astra had a location on the first stone.

"I promised Thanos I would retrieve the orb from him." Ronan's deep voice was calm but impatient. "Only then would he destroy Xandar for me. Nebula," He began to order as he stood from his throne. "go to Xandar and get me that orb."

"It would be my honor." She accepted proudly, stepping forward.

"It would be your doom." Gamora retorted, stepping forward as well. Nebula looking hateful at how Gamora had no faith in her. "If this happens again, you'll be facing our father without his price." She told the Kree.

"I'm a daughter of Thanos, just like you." Nebula reminded her sister.

"But I know Xandar." Gamora knew what she was doing, not that anyone else did. But she, just like Astra needed to be the first to get to the orb.

Nebula attempted to stand her ground so that she could have a win. "Ronan has already decreed that I-"

"Do not speak for me." The Kree interrupted her coldly. "You will not fail." He warned Gamora.

"Have I ever?" She said, full of confidence to get the stone.

"Perhaps, instead you could try someone different." Astra stepped in, a sinister smirk plastered on her red lips. While Ronan looked as if he had no time for this. "Send Gamora and the chance of getting the stone if slimmer than mine." She explained, receiving a dirty look from both her sisters.

"It has been decided-" Gamora said sternly before Astra cut her off.

"I have passed every test and did every deed that no one believed I could." Astra reminded Ronan. "I'm the best one suited for the job."

He thought about what she said, knowing that she may be right. "If I send the both of you, getting the stone should be no problem." He surprised the two of them. "Bring me the stone." He commanded them.

Astra admired her gold medallion, another gift from her father, as she fastened it on her waist. It was circular, just a little larger than the palm of her hand and no thicker that the cap of a water bottle. It was the symbol of the planet Eve. Astra's planet. In the very center was a small stone, golden-yellow in the center and like diamond surrounding it, forming a twinkling star. Surrounding the star was imbedded holes to resembled the Infinity Stones.

"I can do this on my own." Gamora spat out as she and Astra walked to the smaller ship.

"Yeah, well, with me getting the stone is gonna be a lot easier." Astra told her, conceiving a plan to get the stone from her, well, sister. "Plus can you pilot the ship?" She mocked, climbing into the cockpit.

"I'm decent enough." The green girl grumbled, climbing into the seat beside her. Astra chuckled lightly as she turned the bird on. "Are you laughing at me?" Gamora seemed offended once she heard Astra chuckle.

"No," Astra shook her head, a smile on her face. "Just that my brother and I used to converse like this, you know. I would be mad about something and he would be a sarcastic little bitch, or the other way around."

"Your brother?" Gamora didn't know much about Astra, after all they barely talked.

"Back on Earth. I was adopted." Astra finally switched the last thing needed as she explained. "Yeah, don't ask any questions right now." She warned Gamora. "My life was crazy there and will continue to be until the day I die." While Gamora was curious, she was also stubborn and didn't was to form some sort of relationship with her new sibling, so she didn't ask.

The space ship levitated off the ground as the doorway opened wide enough to let it thought. Astra shifted forward and took of to the planet Xandar.
