Avengers Facility

May 27, 2015

"This is a lot nicer." Astra spoke. Her grey eyes looking up at the dark sky with twinkling dots. It was the last night with everyone. The new facility was completed and no one was quite settled in yet. Deciding to finish unpacking later. So on top of one of the buildings, the team laid in a circle to look up.

Sam was the next person to speak. "I can see why you's so obsessed with the sky, Ash."

It continued to be silent, they just needed to enjoy each others presence for the time being. The music in the background was soft and soothing, but as everyone knows, Tony isn't one for this kind of setting. "I have an idea." He voiced.

"Your last idea had us battling a robot army." The alien girl muttered loud enough for the group to hear.

"Astra, be quiet." He ordered her, she rolled her eyes and continued twiddling with Steve's promise ring around his ring finger. She had one on her own finger, a simple gold-colored ring that had a small diamond on it. "I say, we all go around and tell little Astra stories."

"I have one." Natasha spoke almost immediately.

"No." The brunette stopped her, not wanting to hear any of her own embarrassing stories.

"Yes." Natasha shot back and started to tell the story. "We were 18 and in Montana. In the middle of an assassination job, she turns to me and goes 'What's Beethoven's favorite fruit?' and I just look at her you know, cause we have our guns out and should be waiting for the guy to walk out the building." Natasha told her story, she and the brunette with large smiles on their faces as they remembered. "And then she goes 'Ba-na-na-naaa!' and rolled on the floor laughing. Almost revealed where we were."

"Did she take her job seriously?" Tony wondered, stretching out his arm above his head to pull Astra's disoriented hair.

"She used to skateboard inside any S.H.I.E.L.D. facility." Natasha brought up, nudging Astra's shoulder as they remembered those times. "Tony, what about your story."

"There are like thousands." Tony thought of the many funny, sad, happy, pure memories he had with his sister. "Got one, Astra remember at the park and you fell of the slide-"

"And I broke my leg." She interrupted him with an adorable smile that everyone loved.

"What's funny is that," Tony continued. "A four year old girl, just broke her leg and she just hopped over to our parents, and said, and I quote 'I think I broke my leg. It hurts but can I keep playing?'"

The team sung in laughter. "Damn, 4 year old Astra was a badass." Sam laughed.

"How about that one time she pinned Thor to wall with a knife." Steve brought up. Who could forget the time Astra gave the god a heart attack when she threw a knife at him. Pinning his shirt to the wall as she snatched her food from his hand.

"He tried taking the last pop tart and I was on my period." Astra defended herself.

"Well, I don't think anyone tried to take your food after that." Thor smiled as well.
