Astra loomed over Mantis, her right hand checking her forehead to make sure she's alright. The sound of an aero-rig caught her attention as she looked out, Rocket zooming over at full speed. When he landed, Astra could see the glum expression he had.

"Where's Peter?" Gamora asked him. "Rocket, where is he?" She demanded when he didn't answer. The raccoon looked down at the timer, 53 seconds. "Rocket. Rocket, look at me! Where is he?" She shouted, running out of patience. Rocket shook his head, Groot being the one to answer, pointing back outside. "No. I'm not leaving without him."

"Gamora, think rationally." Astra begged her as Gamora grabbed a large gun and prepared to go out.

Before she could go out, Rocket electrocuted her and she passed out on the ground. "I'm sorry." Rocket mumbled. "I can only afford to lose one friend today. Kraglin, go!" He shouted.

"Wait." Astra stood up suddenly. "Go?" She shook her head as she looked down at Rocket. "We need to at least wait for him!"

Rocket ignore her, look out at the planet as the ship lifted into the air. Drax's voice shouting through the intercoms. Repeating, "Rocket, where's Quill?"

"This isn't right." Astra muttered, shaking her head.

"If we stay," Rocket turned his head slightly to look at her. "we die, too."

Everyone laid something down by Yondu's lifeless body. His little trinkets and candles were burning lightly. Now, standing over him, the room was quiet and without joy. "I told Gamora how when I was a kid I used to pretend David Hasselhoff was my dad." Drax and Rocket shared a look, not knowing what Peter was talking about.

"He's a singer and actor from Earth, really famous guy. Earlier, it struck me... Yondu didn't have a talking car, but he did have a flying arrow. He didn't have the beautiful voice of an angel but he did have the whistle of one. Both Yondu and David Hasselhoff went on kick-ass adventures and hooked up with hot women... and fought robots. I guess David Hasselhoff did kind of end up being my dad after all. Only it was you, Yondu." Gamora put a reassuring hand on Peter's shoulders as tear filled the rims of his eyes.

"I had a pretty cool dad. What I'm trying to say here is, sometimes that thing you're searching you're searching for your whole life is right there by your side all along. You don't even know it." That hit Astra hard. After all, she did leave behind a perfectly good family behind. And now it was too late to go back. For now, at least.

Nebula started to leave, Astra making her way to catch up to her a moment later, Gamora following. "Nebula." Gamora called and the blue girl stopped, looking back at the two girls. "I was a child like you." Oh, this is a personal conversation. "I was concerned with staying alive until the next day, everyday. And I never considered what Thanos was doing to you. I'm trying to make it right. There are little girls like you across the universe who are in danger. You can stay with us and help them."

"I will help them by killing Thanos."

"I don't know if that's possible." Gamora shook her head.
