They pulled up to what looked like an old military camp while the sun got low on the horizon. Astra got out the truck and looked down at her phone, looking for any sign of a router.
"This is it." Steve confirmed.
The female's phone wasn't giving her much to work with, so she tucked it into right back-pocket. "The file came from these coordinates."
"So did I." Steve told her, looking at the sign.
About an half an hour later Astra held her phone up in an attempt to get a better reading.
"This camp is where I was trained" Steve commented.
"Change much?" She paid only half attention to him.
"A little." He spaced out, as her could see little him running with the uniform on.
"This is a dead end." Astra concluded. "Zero heat signatures, zero waves, not even radio." She put her phone into her pocket and looked at a building. "Whoever wrote the file must have used a router to throw people off." When she looked over at the blonde, he seemed like he had an idea. "What is it?"
She followed him to a bunker. "Army regulations forbid storing munitions within 500 yards of the barracks. This building is in the wrong place." He took his shield and broke the lock.
"Hey, after this do you wanna go and get a burrito or something?" The brunette asked while walking down the stairs. "I'm starving."
"Sure." He agreed the moment there hit the flat floor. Once finding the lights switch Astra turned it on, the lights in the room flicked a bit before turning on completely.
"This is S.H.I.E.L.D." She noticed the office like environment with the S.H.I.E.L.D logo on one wall.
"Maybe where it started." Steve presumed while they walked and looked around.
They stepped into a new room, and Astra noticed a familiar picture. "There's my dad." She motioned to his young black and white picture.
"Howard." He asserted.
She continued looking at the pictures and found the one of Peggy Carter. "Peggy." She spoke softly before speaking to Steve. "My middle name is after her, you know. Astra Margaret Stark." She gawked at the picture. "I used to look up to her, as a child."
Steve didn't respond, just walked away. Astra glanced at the picture one last time before following him. He seemed to notice something as he stopped walking. "If you're already working in a secret office," He pushed the bookshelf aside revealing an elevator. "Why do you need to hide the elevator?"
Astra scanned the digits on the lock and then typed it in. 8539. There was a slight ding and the doors opened.
When they reopened the room was dark. "Now may be a bad time to say that I'm not too fond of creepy old places that are as dark as my soul." The brunette joked.
