"Why would you even know this?" Quill asked the Nova Corp as he, Gamora and Astra crowded around a visual that showed his nervous system.

"When we arrested you we notices an anomaly in your nervous system, so we had it check out." Denarian Dey answered him.

"I'm not Terran?" He still didn't understand.

"You're half Terran." Irani Rael corrected him, her accent making her sound very sophisticated. "You're mother was of Earth. You're father, well, he's something very ancient we've never seen here before."

Quill still looked very confused while he looked at the hologram. "That could be why you were able to hold the Stone for as long as you did." Gamora thought out loud.

"Your friends have arrived." Rael announced proudly. "On behalf of the Nova Corp, we'd like to express profound gratitude for your help in saving Xandar." All the Guardians were already proud of themselves. Even Rocket while holding a pot with a twig of Groot. "If you will follow Denarian Dey he has something to show you."

"Thank you, Nova Prime." Quill thanked and was the first to follow.

Astra stayed behind a moment to talk about the safety of the orb with Nova Prime, her grey dress ticked the back of her thigh each step she took. Gamora walked beside Drax to exchange a few words. "You're wife and child shall rest well knowing that you have avenged them."

"Yes." He agreed. "Of coarse, Ronan was only a puppet. It's really Thanos I need to kill."

Gamora stopped walking for a moment, not completely surprised. "What?" Astra noticed the discomfort in her sister's green face as she approached her.

"Nothing." Gamora answered dully.

"You're a terrible liar." Astra chucked. "If it's about dear old dad, I'm here." She gave Gamora a warm smile. "I know I haven't suffered like you did, but I did suffer in other ways, if you want to swap battle stories or share feelings." The two started walking again.

"Thank you." Gamora said gratefully.

"Hey, us girls need to have each others backs." She nudged her gently. "It's funny, my best friend on Earth, we uh..." The brunette chuckled as she remembered the time she met Nat. "Our first encounter was a physical fight. So, there's some sort of parallel there, I don't know..." The two laughed as the sunlight hit them when they stepped outside.

"We tried to keep it at close to the original as possible." Denarian talked about the newer orange and blue ship. "We salvaged as much as we could."

"Wow. I..." Quill marveled at it. "Thank you."

"I have a family." Denavian told them. "They're alive because of you." There's that feeling again. The feeling of doing good. The reason Astra did what she did in the beginning of everything. "You're criminal records have also been expunged. However, I warn you against breaking the laws in the future."

"Question." Rocket began to voice. "What if I see something that I want to take and it belongs to someone else?"

"You will be arrested." Denavian answered the obvious.

"But what is I want it more than the person that has it?" He continued and Astra had an amused smile on her face.

"It still isn't legal."

"That doesn't follow. No, I want it more sir. Do you understand?" Rocket exclaimed and Astra laughed lightly as she tapped his shoulder to follow her to the ship. "What are you laughing at? Why? I can't have a discussion with this gentleman?"

"Come on Fuzzball. Let's create some shit." She smirked.

"Oh, yeah." He grinned, already forming some ideas in his little head.

The song Ain't No Mountain High Enough started to play and Astra looked over to see Gamora walking over to Quill. "I give it three months at the most." She challenged Rocket and casually pointed at the lovebirds.

"Nah." He waved his hand to dismiss it. "She's out of his league. I mean have you seen Quill?"

He made her laughs as she smirked, starting a bet. "5,000 units."

Rocket perked up and looked at her. "7,000" He upped, being so sure of himself.

"Deal." She agreed to it and started singing along to the song.

Quill sat in the pilots seat, Rocket in the copilot's, then Astra in the seat behind Rocket and Drax in the seat behind Peter. Gamora walked past the seats to lean on Peter's seat as she looked to the sky. The little twig Groot stretched out his new arms and yawned, making Rocket look down at him with adoration.

"What should we do next?" Peter asked for the teams opinions. "Something good? Something bad? A bit of both?"

"We'll follow you're lead, Starlord." Gomora said for them, making Astra smirk since she already knew that she would win her bet.

"Bit of both." He announced and took off into the sky.

"The Avengers?" Rockets face was pure confusion while Astra told her new friends about her past life.

"It was like Earths own little guardians." Astra had an admirable smile on her face.

"Okay, but your brother has a technological suit?" Quill was still trying to understand. Astra nodded to him and leaned back in her seat, picking up her drink. "And your boyfriend is a super soldier?" Astra nodded yet again.

"The bravery to go into battle armed only with arrows?" Drax entered as well.

"Oh my, God. Guys." Astra groaned, leaning her head back. "I've explained this a thousand times."

"It has not been a thousand times." Drax defended, still not understanding the exaggeration. "Only 6."

"These guys never stop asking questions." Gamora commented from beside the brunette.

"May I meet your brother?" Rocket wondered, re-grabbing Astra's attention. "His suit sound like something I would rather enjoy."

The cosmicite girl lifted her hands in surrender and stood from her seat. "I need a break from you guys." She announced, leaving the still confused guardians in their seats and to her cubicle. Taking out her marble book, she ran her hand on the cover and opened it.

Not even a page in, tiny Groot climbed on her shoulder. Astra' loving eyes looked at him for a moment before trailing back down to the book.

"I am Groot." His tiny, high pitched voice asked for her to read aloud.

She smiled and began from her sentence. "Grantile Eon was the first to travel through the growing galaxy. Most of her ten thousand years alive were spent..." She continued to read the large book as the Milano traveled through space.
