Everyone looked into Astra's direction as she slid down the wall weakly. Her normal appearance took place as she ignored her dizziness. She stood back up and ignored everyone who tried to talk to her. She went to her room and flopped on the bed, trying to remember what her vision showed her. But she couldn't.
Her visions are like dreams. Sometimes, they are so vivid that you understand what happened. Other times, you remember faintly and get the gist. Then, there's what was happening at that moment. Where you so desperate try to remember, and you feel like you're so close. But the memories never emerge.
Once giving up, she changed to a pair of leggings and a large Pink Floyd t-shirt that used to be Tony's. Then headed back down to the place Ultron was created, the lab. Most people already in there as they tried to wrap their head around what happened. She went next to her brother, who was leaning over the Ultron parts, and flicked him in the head
"Idiot." She said furiously. "How many robot movies have we watched? Have some common sense."
"I have common sense." He rebutted, as he turned to fully face his sister.
She crossed her arms over her chest. "Like that time when you thought it would be a good idea to let me cook."
"You know how to cook." He scoffed like it was nothing.
"I was 8!" She exclaimed, leaving her brother there with a face of realization as she went to stand beside Natasha.
"All our work is gone." Bruce complained. "Ultra cleared out. He used the Internet as an escape hatch."
"Ultron." Steve repeated the name to himself.
"He's been in everything." Natasha observed. "Files, surveillance. Probably knows more about us than we know about each other."
"He's in your files, he's in the Internet." Rhodey spoke up. "What it he decides to access something a little more exciting?"
"Nuclear codes." Maria thought.
"Nuclear codes." Rhodey repeated. "Look, we need to make some calls, assuming we still can."
"Nukes?" Natasha thought. "He said he wanted us dead."
"He didn't say 'dead'. He said 'Extinct'." Steve interrupted.
"He also said he killed somebody." Clint pointed out.
"There wasn't anyone else in the building." Maria told them.
"Yes, there was." Tony revealed Jarvis's system. The orange pieces of code scattered and broken.
"What?" Bruce walked over to it. "This is insane."
"Jarvis was the first line of defense." Steve realized that it made sense. "He would have shut Ultron down. It makes sense."
"No." Bruce disagreed while looking over the orange hologram. "Ultron could have assimilated Jarvis. This isn't strategy. This is... rage."
Once he finished her sentence Thor walked quickly to the oldest Stark and held him in the air by his throat. "It's going around." Clint voiced while Astra clenched her hand, prepared to do damage if Thor decided to take a step further and actually hurt her brother.
"Come on. Use your word, buddy." Tony said with the bit of air he had.
"I have more than enough words to describe you, Stark." Thor spoke with venom.
"Thor. The Legionnaire." Steve commanded and the god dropped Tony back on the ground.
"Trail went cold about 100 miles out, but it headed north. And it has the scepter." Thor informed, pissed off at Tony's recklessness. "Now we have to retrieve it, again."
"Genie's out of that bottle." Natasha spoke. "Clear and present is Ultron."
"I don't understand." Dr. Cho spoke up for the first time. "You built this program. Why is it trying to kill us?"
Tony started to laugh like it was all some joke, while everyone else sent him glares. "You think this is funny?" Thor threatened.
"No." Tony turned around to look at everyone. "It's probably not, right? This is very terrible. It is so..." He began to contain his laughter. "It is. It's so terrible."
Thor was so done with Tony and his games, he looked about ready to throw him off the tower. "This could have been avoided if you hadn't played with something you don't understand."
"No. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." Astra's brother interrupted as he faked an apology. "It is funny. It's a hoot that you don't understand why we need this."
"Tony," Bruce tried to calm his friend down. "Maybe this might not be the time to-"
"Really?" Tony interrupted. "That's it? You just roll over, show your belly every time somebody snarls."
"Only when I've created a murder bot." Bruce defended.
"We didn't." Tony claimed. "We weren't even close. Were we close to an interface?"
Bruce nodded as Steve picked up the conversation. "Well, you did something right. And you did it right here. The Avengers was suppose to be different that S.H.I.E.L.D."
"Anybody remember when I carried a nuke through a wormhole?" Tony brought up while pointing up and Astra rolled her eyes.
"No, It's never come up." Rhodey shook his head in a sarcastic manner.
"Saved New York." Tony added, the team rolled their eyes.
"Never heard that." Rhodey countered again.
"Recall that?" Tony said a little louder for some more attention. "A hostile alien army cam charging through a hole in space. We're standing 300 feet below it. We're the Avengers. We can bust arms deals all the lifelong day, but... that up there... that's the endgame. How were you guys planning on beating that?"
"Together." Steve stood firm on his believes.
"We'll lose." Tony countered.
"Then we'll do that together, too." Astra admired the way Steve kept his priorities strong and didn't let worry get ahead of him. Doing what is right.
"Alright, life happens, mistakes were made. Let's get this over with." Astra spoke up. "I wanna kill some bots and eat some chips." She stood up straight. "I say we listen the Star-Spangled man with a plan."
Steve watched Astra for another moment before speaking. "Thor's right. Ultron's calling us out. And I'd like to find him before he's ready for us. The world's a big place. Let's start making it smaller."
