A painfully long, hard, and dagger like glare was what sent Yoongi's eyes wandering to anything but the eyes of his best friend.
Hoseok wasn't the type to lash out on anyone, but in this moment, it's all he could really do. His intense stare morphed the rest of his face into a contorted scowl.
"Namjoon, as in- our friend Namjoon?" Hoseok repeated for what felt like the hundredth time.
"Yeah, him. Now, if this is all you're going to say to me I'd rather leave-"
"-You kissed him?!" He shouted, cutting Yoongi off completely.
Sighing, Yoongi nodded hesitantly. "I didn't kiss back..necessarily. He just leaned in and did it himself"
"B-But, you're married-"
"-engaged."
"It's the same damn thing Yoongi. You're planning to live an eternity long life with your soulmate, Jimin. Not Namjoon. Yes, he's your best friend, and yes, it may have been out of pity, but you don't see me making out with Jimin!!!!"
Hoseok scolded, face succumbing a dark red tint due to his boiling rage.
"How was I supposed to know he'd do that!?" Yoongi snapped back. "He kissed me! I'm innocent here!"
"Are you though? Are you really?" Hoseok narrowed his gaze on his friend, watching as he nodded hastily.
"If thats the case, why don't we give Jimin a call? Hm? He's on break right now, I'm sure he's got time to-"
"-DON'T YOU DARE CALL HIM!" Yoongi stood from his spot to tower over the other. "Please Hoseok."
"Yoongi, you're my bestest friend in this whole universe and I love you to pieces, but this is just...not right. You need to talk to Jimin and Namjoon. How do you think Jin is taking this news? Do you even know if Namjoon will say anything?"
Hoseok worried as he stood up as well, rubbing his shoulders in a comforting way.
"I don't know...im just..scared of losing Jimin because of this. What if he doesn't love me after this? What if he sees this as me cheating on him? A-And the wedding..will He call it off?"
"You'll never get these questions answered by just guessing, talk to him Yoongz." Hoseok sighed.
"I-I'm just so stressed right now...with the custody case and now this. I don't know if I'll be able to face Namjoon anytime soon."
"Do you want to see Sunmi before you go?" Hoseok pointed upstairs where the girl had been staying. Yoongi shook his head with a small frown on his face.
"I don't want to get her hopes up just yet. The case is tomorrow though..Jimin said he had everything under control but I don't know."
