Selena
It's been two months, the longest and most eventful two months of my entire life. Josh was coming home soon, life went back to normal but Justin and I were still getting our heads around the fact that our second youngest child was expecting a child. I started back to work in the office, I also starting going to the studio as I wrote songs to help clear my mind.
Madison came to visit just last month, she was getting big and the doctor warned her not to travel too much. We loved Madison, adored her like our own. Josh often FaceTimed us every few days to check in, he was ecstatic when we sent pictures of us together with Madison holding her bulging belly. Jayden simply went back to school getting in trouble as per usual, I was called to the school at least six times in the last two months. Justin didn't attend any of them, I defended our son alone.
The girls went back to school, apart from Jade. We let her home school as we didn't want her to be picked on and cause stress on the baby, even though she fought against us she agreed in the end. Kane came over after practice to see both mother and bump, he was great and as her bump grew he was all hands on helping out with helping her getting dressed and buying the baby stuff. If she wanted water he was make her stay where she is and get it for her. She tried to argue with him saying she didn't want people running around after her and that she can take care of herself but nobody listened.
Jessica and Sophia was always around Jade, talking to the bump and inawe whenever the baby kicked. Justin came a little distant with "work" but I knew all to well what work was. He would come in at all hours during the night, I knew what he was doing and where he was. It is tearing me apart to pretend like we are a happy family in front of the kids. I cry myself to sleep almost every night, hoping he would come straight home after work and it would be me he wanted still after all the years of marriage. Our love is long gone, I have pretended for long enough, I've played his sick games for long enough. We had two grandchildren on the way and he had no interest in anything whatsoever.
Staring at my self in the full length wall mirror, I fixed my red shirt into my white pencil skirt making sure you couldn't see the red.
I pinned up my hair and only did a small touch of make up, keeping it very classy because that's what I was, classy and not trashy.
Turning on my heels, I grabbed my purse of the bed and make my way down the stairs. Justin had already left for the office and I was simply going to follow him, to see if he's been doing her all these years later.
"Mom, you look beautiful. Where are you going?" Jade asked walking out of the kitchen in h pajamas with a cup of coffee in hand.
"Just to the office." I gave her my fakest smile. "Are you and dad.. okay? I've noticed you two aren't around each other a lot, he's gone most days and you try pretend like everything's fine when in reality everybody in this house has seen the distance between you both." Jade raised a brow and a sad smile plastered on her lips. I slump my shoulders and give her a soft hug. "I love you, you know that right?" I smiled and she nodded. "So whatever happens, just know that I love you and this baby with all my heart." I kissed her on the head before composing my structure and opening the door. "Mom?" She called and I turned to meet her hazel eyes, the ones she inherited from her disgusting father.
"I love you too."
I smiled blowing her a kiss and leaving the house, Zion waiting at the car. "Where to today madam?" He asked opening the back door. "Bieber Industry, Zion." I spoke getting into the car while pulling down my sun glasses, he nodded closing the door.
I spent my time in the car texting Kylie and the girls about my plan of walking in on them. A few minutes later my phone lit up and Taylor's name spat across the screen and I happily answered. "Selena Marie Bieber what the fuck are you thinking, have you even thought about your kids?!" She yelled and I pulled the phone away from my ear feeling disgusted at the last part of that sentence. "Yes I have and I want to see it with my own eyes. I know what I am doing Taylor, the kids know nothing as of yet."
"Are you sure about this Selena?"
"Yes Taylor, I am done with his bullshit, I have put this off long enough, I need to catch him in action." I spoke calm and and kept my anger collected, remembering that I need to be classy not trashy.
"Okay, then I hope you give the mother fucker what he deserves."
"Oh I will."
"Okay I got to go, I love you Sel but please don't get arrested." She laughed and I smiled, I looked up to see Zion looking in the rear view mirror at me, he nodded and I nodded back to him. "Okay I love you too Taylor."
The car came to a slow stop and I thanked Zion as he helped me out of the car. "I'll call you when I'm ready to leave." I whispered and he nodded again before I looked up at the building. The empire that we built together, the building that held so many memories. I reminded myself why I was here and I walked into the building quickly stepping into the elevator along with some of the workers. "Hello Mrs. Bieber." One of them politely said, she seemed a little worried. "Hello Sharon, how is your day going?" I smiled looking at her before taking off my sun glasses. She has worried written in her face. "It's been good so far, how about yours?" She asked and the doors opened on Justin's floor. "It's about to get a whole lot worse." I spoke before leaving the elevator and walking towards Justin's office. His secretary Valery was sitting in her share drinking her coffee but nearly spit it out when she saw me coming. "Is Justin here today Valery?" I politely asked and she nodded. "Is he with a woman?"
She nodded again, scared and shaken.
"Let me guess, blonde and goes by the man, Hailey Baldwin?"
She nodded again about to stutter something.
I pressed my finger to my lips before stepping in front of the door. I breathed in and out holding in my anger before opening the door quickly.
