I couldn't believe I just made love to my ex husband at his dead brothers open casket where his family and friends were grieving in the room next door. "You leave first, I need to fix myself and I don't want to make it look suspicious." I spoke, Justin fixed his hair before kissing me again and leaving me alone to collect my thoughts.

Wow.

Just wow.

Did I really just do that?

Zipping up my skirt from the back I looked in the mirror and you could definitely tell I just had sex, my hair was like I touched an electric socket and shocked myself. Fixing it quickly I put it back into its nest low bun and fixed the smudged red lipstick. I looked for Patties hidden secret stash of perfume in her not so secretive drawer.

Spraying some Gucci on myself I made sure I looked as if I never left, stepping out it was as if nobody noticed I left.

I picked up a random glass of white wine from the counter and went back to greeting people. I watched Justin from across the room where he has something like icing stuck to the side of his mouth. Pointing to the corner of my mouth to indicate he has something there his hand flew up and he wiped it licking his finger after. Smirking I had to stop shelf from wanting to jump on him again.

"Where did you go to?" A voice spoke and I squealed jumping out of my skin. "Oh my god Jade don't you dare do that again!"

"I saw you." She spoke but I pretended to be confused. "Saw me? I've been here the whole time."

"I saw you two, going into gran's off-"

"Okay enough young lady, don't you dare open your mouth about that." I said and she smirked but I couldn't help but look how big her bump was getting.

"Not long left until you've two grandchildren here." One of Justin's cousins said gripping my shoulders.

"I know Samantha it's so exciting." I smiled before watching her smile at me before strutting off to get herself a drink, she was a heavy drinker and always got drunk at every family party or event.

"When are we going home? The baby is making me super uncomfortable." Jade complained holding a hand on her back. "Soon. I've just got to say goodbye to everyone and then we can go."

She nodded and waddled away from me. "I don't know how you do it." Justin spoke from behind and I smiled turning around. "You mean you don't know how we do it?"

"You are such an amazing mother." He smiled and I smiled up at him. "So I wanted to talk to you about the company."

"What about it?" I smirked and he looked away for a second before glancing back at me. "I want to come back."

"Let me think about it."

"It was my company and it has my name on it."

"Well now it's my empire, you'll just have to earn your trust back."

"How?"

"You'll figure it out." I winked at him before walking away toward Josh who's been talking to Jaxon. "Hey you two, how are you both holding up?"

"Getting there I guess." Jaxon replied and Josh nodded. "Well if you two want to go get an early sleep for the funeral tomorrow you can, the casket is going to be getting closed shortly anyways." I smiled and they thanked me before I walked over to another crowd to let them know what was going on.

"What a turn out for poor Jay, it's so sad what happened Sel." Julie, one of Patties friends gripped my arm and I nodded. "Young soul gone too soon." She shook her head with a sad look on her face. "Yeah I'm still in shock from the news." Amanda spoke.

"Thanks girls, Pattie and Jeremy would appreciate you all being here for them today and tomorrow."

They all smile nodding their heads. "Where is the afters for the funeral tomorrow?"

"Oh it's in Justin and I's home, we thought somewhere Jason spent his time the most we would celebrate his life there."

"Oh that's brilliant." Julie nodded and I smiled saying my thank you for coming and then walking away to repeat the same thing to another crowd.

This went on for another hour before people started to say their goodbyes and leaving. "Can we go now? My feet are really hurting." Jade said complaining at the kitchen island and I sighed. "Yes sweetheart we can go." I giggled and she shot me a cheeky look which I laughed at again.

"Come on." I spoke grabbing my bag and going out into the hallway. "Jayden!" I called up the stairs and he was quick to the top running down the stairs. "I was in talking to grandma."

"Where's your dad?"

Jayden shrugged.

"I think he's outside with Josh." Jade spoke and I made my way out to back yard where I found them speaking. "Are you guys ready to go? Jade is complaining, Jess and Soph are already back at the house." I said and they both looked at me and nodded.

I smiled walking back out to my two youngest babies and gathered my stuff and opening the front door to the car, all the cars have gone and it was nice to see such a perfect housing street so quiet.

Unlocking the car Jayden helped Jade climb into the back of the car while I put everything into the trunk. ''I'm just going to go say goodbye to your gran.'' I said shutting the trunk door and walking back into the house where Justin and Josh walked out laughing. ''Where you going?'' Justin asked and I raised a brow. ''Going to say goodbye to your mother.''

''Oh.''

I smiled walking up the stars biting down on my lip as I knocked on Patties bedroom white oak door and heard a faint ''come in''.

''Hey you, how you holding up?'' I asked peeping my head in to see her sitting up surrounded by junk food with a movie on. ''I'm good. Are you guys going? Is everyone gone?''

I nodded taking a seat on her bed. ''Thank you for looking after everything.''

''It's what I'm here for.''

''I need to ask you something.'' She spoke and I raised a brow to give her the go-ahead.

''What's going on with you and Justin?'' She asked, I guessed I should have seen that one coming. ''Well, we are just starting over fresh, it's early days but you know I love your son, even if he did do what he did I could never hate him. He gave me four amazing children but right now it's as if we needed the break, we act like teenagers around each other, he gives me butterflies and make me smile when I see him.'' I spoke and she almost cried.

''Oh Sel! Your everything I could have wanted for him to find. I knew he and Hailey weren't right for each other. You two just have that connection that nobody could ever have.''

''Don't make me cry!'' I giggled wiping my eyes before I leaned over to kiss her on the cheek. ''Goodnight Pattie, I'll be straight over early tomorrow morning, you get some sleep you need it.''

''Goodnight Selena.''

I blew her a kiss before making my way out of her room and down to my family.
