Selena

Sitting on the edge of the bed, I started thinking of what Justin was saying. Was I really a bad mom? I thought we done a good job raising the kids together, I gave them whatever they wanted, let them do what they wanted, I let them be kids but obviously that was the wrong choice.

A door slammed down the hall and I knew he had given Sophia a bad punishment. I cleaned up my messy mascara and made my way to Sophia's room where I heard her sigh in annoyance.

After it went silent I knocked on the door twice and opened it, popping my head around the door. "Hey it's only me." I said seeing her sitting on her bed and she burst into tears when she saw me. "He's so cruel." She huffed rolling her eyes, I crawled on the bed and hugged her tightly. "I know babe, I know. What did he take?''

"My phone and everything else, I've also not to move from this house for the three weeks I'm suspended."

"Look at it like this, three weeks without school, you can do whatever you want apart from leave the house. Josh would eat most of the snacks, he would spend his entire time lying at the pool getting a tan, he always found something to do when grounded." She smirked and I laughed.

"Thank you Sel, you've always been there for me whenever I need you you're the best mom ever."

"I know." I said and we laughed hard. "I better go down stairs but come down when you are ready to face him."

"Okay."

Shuffling off the bed I walked out of Sophia's bedroom closing the door behind me and let out the breathe I had been holding in. Walking down the hallway towards the stairs I could hear things being smashed and quickly running down the stairs into the kitchen to find Justin smashing all my white cups against our tiled kitchen wall. ''Justin what the hell are you doing?'' I asked and he shook his head at me picking up another cup and smashing it. ''God damn kids can't stay out of trouble!'' He yelled as it smashed into little pieces. 

''Justin stop it!'' I said, all he could do was just laugh. ''I'm sick and tired of being dragged into that god damn school over one of my god damn kids.'' He held a stern face on him. ''Maybe, just maybe it's because you were too damn soft on them but that's how you were raised Selena.'' He spat the venom words at me. 

''No you do not get to do this! You do not get to pin this on me, maybe if you weren't so hard on them they wouldn't rebel against you. You are the problem Justin! YOU!'' I spat back as I began to get angry as he just laughed again. I watched him walk to the fridge and grab a beer to just walk back to where he was standing. ''No wonder your acting this way, you're drunk.''

''Drunk as a skunk, because this family disgusts me.'' 

''You know, you should be ashamed of yourself Justin because of course you would run to alcohol when things get difficult. Maybe you should even run back to Hailey? She might take your mind off your disgusting family.'' I said opening the fridge and grabbing a bottle of water. ''Maybe I should, then tell you all the glory details.'' 

Jessica 

Opening the front door, I heard yelling coming from the kitchen and watched Sophia coming down the stairs. ''I wouldn't go in there just yet, dads drunk and smashing things off the wall.'' 

''God damn, Jade you call Josh and Jayden you go to your room.''

''I'm not five you know?'' Jayden rolled his eyes.

''Just go, no arguments.'' 

Breathing heavily I watched Jayden walk up the stairs with his bag slung over his shoulder along side Jade I stood next to Sophia watching our parents yell at each other. ''Jade told me what you did for us, thank you.'' I said and she smiled. ''You're my family now, I will hit anyone who talks crap about us.'' 

''well I think it was amazing what you did.'' I laughed and Sophia bumped her shoulder off me. ''Dad doesn't think so.'' 

''Yeah well he'll get over it. Just do the punishment and try stay out of trouble please don't go down the road Josh did.'' I spoke and she nodded. ''Let's leave these to argue who's the better parent and do some gossiping along with some homework.'' I chirped, Sophia agreed and we walked up the stairs towards my room. ''Josh is on his way but I'm going to Kane's for the weekend.'' Jade said walking past us with a bag in her hand. ''Do you want me to drive you?'' i asked and she shook her head. 

''No it's fine Kane's outside in the car with Jason.'' She smiled before running down the stairs. ''I wish I was her, getting away from this house for a few days.'' Sophia said with a sad one. ''Look three weeks isn't bad, Josh was grounded once for five months.'' 

Opening the door we plopped down letting our bodies sink into the bed. ''What a day.'' I exclaimed and Sophia laughed rolling onto her stomach while she opened my laptop. 

''Let me guess, no phone or laptop?'' I asked and she she laughed. ''How do you know?'' She asked and I gave her the ''Really?'' face. ''He always took Josh's phone,  it's dads classical move.'' After a few minutes I heard the front door opening and Josh started yelling. ''What the hell is this? I have a newborn at home and I'm being dragged half way across town because of you two!'' He yelled, Sophia and I looked at each other before running out of my room and down the hall to watch the action unfold.

 ''Here comes the son I raised right thanks to my punishments.'' Our dad said as Sophia and I watched from the stairs. Dad was stumbling around the kitchen waving a bottle of beer around. 

''Alright enough of that dad you can sleep it off at grandma's for the night.'' Josh said grabbing my dad's arm but my dad just looked at Josh with angry eyes. ''Get off me I can do what I want.'' My dad stuttered. 

''Clearly you can't because you can't stand or string a sentence together right now.'' Josh held up my dad who tried to fight off Josh, my dad managed to pick up a cup smashed it against the wall. My mom winced ducking out of the way from the cup. ''Grow up Selena I wouldn't hit you.'' My dad yelled throwing his hands everywhere.

''Let's go dad I don't have time for this.''

''Where are we going?'' My dad asked stumbling out to Josh's car. I stood up running down the stairs into the kitchen with Sophia following. ''Mom are you okay?'' I asked and she nodded with a hand up to her mouth. ''Where is Jade?'' She questioned and I told her she went to stay with Kane and Jason for the weekend at Kane's parents.

''Okay good and Jayden, where is he?'' 

''Upstairs doing homework I think.''
