stuff that never made it in

if you've been a reader from the start -thank you, i love you- then you remember how the first like 6 chapters were a reader insert type thing. but i just couldn't do it

so she (the reader insert at the time) was gonna be mute but not selectively, really mute, but then it was really hard to write. this was never published, however and might've been a good idea if i stuck with it.

so the problem here was that this was actually supposed to be a tyler and jenna book where they had this kid. but then i thought and realized that the importance of brendon adopting a kid later on in his life wouldn't have been as great (wait for it)

bella was gonna be really amazing at the electric guitar but i never found a perfect place for that in the book.

[ho ho homeschool]
bella was gonna switch to homeschooling after she got pushed into the mud (remember?) and she was supposed to stop being friends with brendon but this idea was quickly scraped, thank god.

yep. they were gonna go out together instead of brendon and bella but then i thought for a sec and was like maybe not. so i had to rewrite 6 chapters uh

remember when ryan drove bella home somehow? yea well that whole thing was actually supposed to be a guy in another band called waterparks (you should check 'em out!), and then he was actually going to come on tour with them and help brendon and stuff.

so lemme explain. brendon and sarah were going to be dating (then i made her their kindergarten teacher wtf), and brendon was going to really like her, but he was gonna be in love with bella.

guys, gals, and my nonbinary pals, yes. this book was supposed to end a whole entire 7 months ago with her doing this. but then i realized that i didn't wanna glorify this and that it just wasn't a good idea overall.

[is tyler dead?]
no but he's supposed to be. this book was supposed to end so many different ways and i actually still have the different drafts. tyler was going to die of a massive heart attack after their fight due to the stress of it and bella was gonna get cured. i dunno how but yea. plot twists are obvi my thing.

[how did you have enough time for this]
the last chapter was originally nearly 10,000 words (that's not even including the insta part) because brendon was supposed to preform a variety of different panic! songs that i played around with the lyrics of to better fit his situation and it was so beautiful but honestly way too long.

bella was originally going to hop up on stage and preform a song (not a panic! one but an all time low one they were going to cover), during the last chapter because (i've never mentioned it but) she can sing, and she was supposed to faint into bren's arms and die :(

this book was going to be a three-part series, this book following one of my now deleted ones from a long time ago. so what happened was jenna escaped a mental facilty with the help of tyler and changed her name (to jenna) and they were going to be a couple and stuff yay

the next book was going to follow brendon more than anything but he was supposed to adopt a girl like he promised bella on the plane and most of it was going to revolve around him still not being over her. but i might not have time to write it for a whole year
