False Alarm

It was 2AM and the Kim household was quiet. No one was awake, not even Jungkook who normally stayed up until 6AM on Overwatch. Everyone was sleeping soundly in their beds, warm and snug under the covers. That is, until the alarms went off.

A loud blaring noise shook the house and Jin immediately woke up. As soon as he sat up, his mind went into "parent" mode while his ears went deaf. He went over to Yoongi's bed and shook him awake. "Yoongi, Yoongi, Yoongi."

Yoongi cracked his eyes open before he groaned. "Just let the fire take me. I'll be okay."

Jin rolled his eyes before pushing his younger brother off the bed. "There could be a burglar downstairs, Yoongi! Hurry and go take care of it!"

Yoongi stood and glared Jin before stomping off, his pant legs causing his heels to slip a little since they were a bit too long for him. Jin then went to the next room that was closest to him, which was sadly not yours. {Tbh, i imagined yoongi in just an oversized shirt with his hair all in his face like a child.}

You woke up and your mind screamed at you. Something bad has happened, (Y/N)! All your brothers have been eaten up by a fire and you're the lone survivor! A robber has come to steal your kidneys and sell them online! But before you could think of any more dangerous situations, your door flew open. You didn't even have time to see who had whisked you out of bed until they were halfway down the stairs.

"Namjoon," you murmured. "What's going on?"

"I don't know," he answered. "Jin-hyung just told us to gather outside." And soon, he was standing out in the backyard between Hoseok who was holding a pillow that he forgot to let go of and Jungkook who was only in his underwear.

"You're going to get pneumonia," Namjoon remarked, shivering in the cold. You weren't that cold, since you had Namjoon's body heat warming you up. Jungkook just shrugged before bouncing up and down, trying to create some type of heat.

"Was there a fire?" you asked your brother and you saw him shake his head.

"What about a murder? Yoongi isn't down here. Or Jin."

Namjoon sighed, chuckling a bit. "Why don't you ask Hoseok? He's the oldest in this situation."

Hoseok shook his head, his red locks swishing around cutely. "I'm too cold to do anything."

"Where are the twins?" Namjoon asked, looking around.

Jungkook motioned forward with his head and you looked to see them on the ground in a huddle. "We're keeping warm," Taehyung whispered, patting Jimin's head.

"Send the baby over here," Jimin said, reaching up towards you and Namjoon went to let go of you, but your arms were still wrapped around his neck.

"No, no, Namjoon is enough," you insisted. "He's always enough." You moved your hand to squish his cheek.

You heard a door slam and you looked up to see Yoongi and Jin. "What was the matter?" Taehyung questioned them.

Yoongi crossed his arms. "A stupid box fell off a shelf in the basement and it was loud enough to make the alarms go off."

Jin grinned. "But everything is fine now."

Yoongi shook his head. "No, it's not, because someone woke me up," he hissed.

"Well, I'm freezing so bye, losers." You then watched Jungkook speed off into the house again, and you remained in Namjoon's arms until he sat you back down in your bed.

"Namjoon, you should by my chaperon," you giggled before he wished you a good sleep. "You just carry me around everywhere."

He grinned before planting a small kiss on your nose. "We'll see."
