"I swear, if you don't shut up," Yoongi growled, glaring at you as you laid on the ground beside him.
You just giggled. "Yooni!"
Ever since you got a positive response from your parents after you called Yoongi by his name (in a way), you called for him whenever you could, abandoning your catchphrase that had once been "hi." And boy, did you annoy the living crap out of your second oldest brother. He couldn't have a peaceful afternoon anymore. The only thing Yoongi heard was his little sister whining for him.
"Shut up!" Yoongi screeched, gnashing his teeth at you.
Your mouth shut. You looked at your brother, not expecting such a negative action. Weren't you happy that I got your name right, though? What happened? Do you not like me? Your bottom lip trembled.
"Don't even think about crying," your brother hissed, knowing very well what a quivering lip meant.
You didn't understand the warning, so you were oblivious to his fury. Baby you began to cry as your face scrunched.
Yoongi heard his mom stir in the kitchen. "Everything okay in there, sugar? Did (Y/N) use the potty? Go ask Jinnie to show you how to change her."
Yoongi looked back at the doorway to the kitchen. "She's okay!" he answered. He turned back to you. "Come on, (Y/N), dry those eyes. Eomma is going to give me a spanking if you don't quit."
But you continued crying. "Y-Y-Yooni," you sobbed, your hands balling into fists as you threw your little arms about.
Yoongi heard footsteps and his heart starting pounding. He could see his mom holding his baby sister, stating that Yoongi was grounded from TV for the next week. He gulped as he saw his mom picked you up into her arms.
"What's wrong, honey?" your mom cooed, giving you a kiss on the nose.
You looked at your brother who was still seated on the ground below you. You made grabby hands towards him. "Yooni! Yooni!"
Your mom smiled as she looked at her second oldest. "Yoongi, I know how much you dislike taking care of your sister-"
Something changed in Yoongi instantly. Seeing how you cried for him even though he had clearly made it known that he didn't want to be your friend made his hard shell soften just a little bit. He stood. "No, eomma, I can take care of her. I'm okay with it."
Your mom was taken aback, but she passed you to Yoongi anyway. "Whatever you say, sugar. If she doesn't calm down, though, just bring her back to me."
Yoongi nodded and looked down at you once your mother was back cleaning the kitchen. "Are you always going to cry like this? I don't like it. Crying is for weenies like... like Jin."
Suddenly a head popped up from behind the couch. "I'm telling eomma you said that!" Jimin sang, a smirk on his face.
"No, you won't!" Yoongi fired back, not wanting to get in trouble.
And as your tears started to subside, you giggled, happy as you sat in the arms of your brother.
