"Good Morning Mama And Daddy." I went to their bed and gave them hugs.
"Hi bug."
"My sweet girl."
"Mom, I chose a museum for us to go."
"Which one?"
"Uhh Something like Deutsches Historiches. How do you say it?"
"Ohh that museum." My dad said.
"Can we go today?"
"Let's try.. If the kids aren't grumpy enough."
"Oh yeah, I'm the only kid awake." I picked at my scar a little.
"I never knew you had a scar."
"I have several." Mom nodded her head.
"Wait Mom how long have we been sleeping? Because when we got here it was still light outside."
"Only like 8 hours. Because we got here at 5 right? Five o'clock local time?"
"Mhmm."
"I'm hungry."
"There's a bar in my bag sweetie. Did you brush your teeth?"
"Yeah. I'm gonna go text Josh."
"What for?" I smiled and pulled out my phone.
"He wanted time to text him when I got here. Plus I need to talk to him about some stuff."
Joshy✨: You finally texted! Did you anything so far?
Alliie🤤: Eh not yet. But how are ya? :)
Joshy✨: I'm doing fine.. I miss u :(
Alliie🤤: I'm coming home next week. You'll make it, I miss u tooo
Joshy✨: Love you
Alliie🤤: U know I love u more ;);
I held the phone to my heart and sighed. That's when I realized Dad was staring me down and mom was too.
"Hand me the phone." My mother said.
"Mom please.."
"Now." I went into the other room unsent some of our convo. It was too risky.
"Why are walking away from me?"
"Because you were gonna check it again. I don't like it when you do that. I like my privacy."
"Do you know why I'm checking it?"
"I dunno."
"Don't act like that. You know exactly why."
"Because I'm being too flirtatious for you?"
"Mm not really,"
"Okay... what?"
"When you smile and hold your phone to your heart like that, I start to get a bit emotional you know. And I worry a lot. For you especially."
"Oh. I keep thinking that you're mad at me."
"What?! No, not at all honey. I just want to make sure you're not doing anything inappropriate."
"Oh okay. I wasn't though, just being classical me."
"Uh-huh."

Deutsches Historiches Museum
"This is amazing Dad!" It was just me, Daddy, and Amaya. Mama decided that since only Amaya and I wanted to go to the museum that she'd take the boys to do something else and we'd all meet up at the hotel later.
"I'm glad you guys are enjoying it." There were some cameras but it was pretty tolerable.
"Dad what does this sayyyy?" Amaya asked while bobbing her head around.
"It talks about the re-unification guys. Allie, do you wanna help explain?"
"Yeah, It's when American and Russian forces kinda like redrew themselves from the different sides of Germany and the game back together again united. Though some parts of Germany are still in a struggle."
"You're missing some key info but that's good."
"Ohh. Dad this is fun. We should have more Dad and daughter dates like these." I nodded in agreement.
"Then we'll do more of these. Now come on let's go to the next exhibit, people are starting to crowd." I held my dads hand and walked over to the next exhibit with him. The crowd was making me a little bit uncomfortable so I felt the need to hold onto him.
"Are you nervous?"
"Just a tiny bit. I'm so babish."
"You're not, you're just special in your own way. You just need more comfort, that's all. There's nothing wrong with that, okay?"
"I guess." It's just the fact that I'm twelve and holding onto my dad like I'm six seems weird now. Like most girls wouldn't be extremely close with their dad like the way I am now. Most girls are independent and tend to not rely on their dads so much. But then they also at the same time argue with their dads a lot more then I argue with my Daddy/Dada/Papa/Pére. Yes, I have 4 names for my dad, just like I did for my biological Dad :(.
"Allie."
"Oh I'm sorry." I walked downstairs and out of the museum with my sister and Papa and into the car where I continued my deep, deep reflection on my behavior. Is it okay for my to be childish? Is it okay to be clingy to those who I trust? Because I heard being clingy is not the best trait to have.

"I don't even know what to get, this is literally so stressful." I said while touching the bruise on my head.
"Don't touch the bruise hun." My mom said while signaling to put my arm down.
"What about schnitzels?!!" My brother said in a good mood for once.
"Oh yeah those are really yummy."
"Can we get those?"
"Huh?"
"It's basically a breaded fried pork chop."
"I'll try it." I haven't had pork before, mainly because my mom never let me eat pork.
"Um, on second thought Nevermind."
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing, I just changed my mind." Quick save.
"We'll just go with that. So everyone else wants right?" They all nodded while I sat there feeling left out.
"I'll eat anything without pork. That's all I have to say."
"That's going to be hard here, why don't you eat pork?"
"Because my mom said to never eat anything from a pig. She's in heaven now and all I want to do is respect the rules she set for me. I don't mean to be rude in anyway." I nibbled my bread and then the waiter came so the silence was only temporary. I think my siblings didn't focus much on what I said due to the fact that they started to joke with me immediately after, which I don't have a problem with, they're kids they shouldn't have to have such heavy topics weighing in their lives. While I say that, I'm a kid having to go through that. I make zero sense!
"Allie, you don't have to eat pork if makes you feel bad. One step at a time okay?"
"Alright." We tried to have a more positive and uplifting dinner from there on.

I'm running out of ideassss
