September 1st
I totally didn't want summer to end. I had so much fun. I like not having to do work, it actually sucks.
"Allie, you said you wanted to go shopping for school, am I correct?"
"Yeah, what about it."
"I can't go today because I have an event."
"Oh, okay."
"Do you want to come with me to a dinner instead?"
"Really?" I said as she put down her phone.
"Yes."
"I wanna come. What is it about?"
"It's about empowering women. I think you could learn a lot from being there." I smiled and she gave me a kiss.
"Go and shower and do your hair, I'll put together an outfit."
"Alright."

Empowering Women Dinner (Mariska's Perspective)
"And to my wonderful daughters, Amaya and Allison, one of which is actually here with me tonight. I want you two to know that as you guys are growing up, there will be people who'll tell you that because you're a girl you cannot do certain things, there will be people in this world that'll try and shame you for being yourself and I want you girls to know that you can be whatever you want to be. I want you girls to know that Daddy and I are your best friends and you guys can tell us about absolutely anything. We love you girls so much and we can't imagine life without you two." Allison smiled and everyone clapped. I got off stage and my daughter gave me a big hug.
"You spoke really well Mama."
"Thank you sweetheart. I did it all for you and Amaya." We went back to our table and started to eat. My daughter insisted on a sirloin steak with mashed potatoes and numerous vegetables.
"So Allison, Ready for school?" Ali asked.
"Not really. I enjoy spending time with my friends outside of school more than inside of the school."
"School is important though, don't forget that."
"I certainly won't Aunty Ali." She looked around and I put my arm around her lovingly.
"Are you cold?"
"No, I'm okay."
"Thanks for coming with me tonight. It made me really overjoyed to have you here." She smiled and I fixed her headband.
"Look at the dessert." She commented as it was placed on her plate.
"Thank you," Allie has become more poised these few weeks, she's definitely executing that elegance that you'd see from a young woman. It makes me a bit sad, as it shows her maturity but it's also amazingly beautiful.
"Hm." She said.
"What is it?"
"I'm thinking of how to describe this taste. It isn't bad, I'm just trying to pull a Gordon Ramsay here Mama." I let out a short laugh and Ali was called up to make a speech.
"We're going to leave in a bit, okay?"
"Alright."

September 9th (Allie's Perspective)
Well, now I'm a 7th grader. I made my bed and took quite the shower. I really didn't feel like going to school today so I took my time.
"Allison Hermann, are you ready?"
"No, I'm getting dressed Ms.Nala." She was Andrew's nurse because he has some health problems.
"You have to go to school soon, I suggest you hurry up."
"Okay." I gelled down my hair into a low sleek ponytail and did my edges. Since I'm not allowed to do makeup, I just put some lip gloss on.
"Woah.." August said.
"Why did you say woah like that for?"
"You actually look....good for once."
"Okay you weirdo." I laughed and went downstairs to grab a bite to eat.
"Look at you Allie, starting to look like a teenager."
"Thanks I guess." I laughed and Amaya stared at me.
"What's that on your lips?"
"Gloss."
"You look like you're 14 years old. Daddy is so not gonna love this."
"Good morning girls," He said.
"Speak of the devil and he shall appear." I whispered. He walked over to me as I finished my avocado toast with eggs.
"What's that on your face?" He asked as he gave me a kiss on the cheek.
"Clear lip gloss." He raised his eyebrows and went over to Amaya.
"I'm in fifth grade now."
"I know you are. My big girl!" August was gone because he's in high school now, so he's allowed to just go like that. The fact that he and Emma are in the same school now makes me really curious. They're supposed to be broken up, but it looks like they're back together. I washed my plate and slid on my backpack. I grabbed my water bottle and shoved it in my backpack's side pocket.
Joyboo😘😘: Yo, I'm outside now.
Clairee💅🏼: Joy, I thought I told you to wait on me.
Joyboo😘😘: Ahaha, you were taking a long shower, I wasn't gonna wait on you! 😂
Me: I'm coming.
"Daddy, Joy is outside."
Leila💜: I'm outside too!
"Alright honey, give me a hug and a kiss." I ave him a hug and jumped to give him a kiss.
"Go straight to school."
"Sure will Dad."
"No stopping at boys houses on the way and-"
"Okay, okay. I got it. Bye guys!"
"Bye!" I walked outside and down the stoop to Leila and Joy.
"Leila, now you have Joys hair and Joy has you hair, no one told me we were planning a switch-a-roo."
"It wasn't even my choice. Mom was like, you need a new hair cut and here I am." I laughed as we crossed the street.
"Jesus Christ these people love to get photos, don't they?"
"They can't ever stop to be honest." We walked into the school building and the line for receiving our schedules was- Let me just say crazy.
"In coming 7th graders, this line."
"Last name?"
"Hermann."
"August's sister? I see." It seriously gets on my nerves when people think that I'm like August in some negative way, I'm not even related to the guy and we're both really different people.
"What does your schedule look like?" I deeply analyzed it before replying. I let out a tiny sigh and closed my eyes. I miss Josh.
"You okay?"
"Yeah totally, Where's Claire guys?"
"She said she's coming, but we'll see. What classes you got?"
"Math, English, Gym, Social Studies, Lunch, Spanish, Science, and Music."
"Bro, we got like five classes together!" They said.
"We got so lucky! Well, that's why it's good to be in advanced math. Let's go!"
"Her name is Ms.Sinclair. This will be fun,"
"Her name sounds so sinister what the hell." Joy said.
"What's up skinnies?"
"Claire! Did you get your schedule?"
"Of course, let's see what's we got here? Hmm, we have math together, English, oh wait. Allison we have the same schedule."
"Are you serious?"
"I'm being legit." I looked at hers and she was definitely telling the truth.
"Damn, we got lucky this year. Where's Brian?"
"Still on vacay."
"I'm not surprised. Let's go before we're late."

Home (Peter's Perspective)
3 out of my 4 children come home today. I was waiting patiently for Allie to come.
"Hey Dad!" She had bubble tea in tow and placed it in the kitchen after taking off her shoes.
"Where were you?"
"Kung Fu Tea. Thought I'd get some for everyone."
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"I told Mom,thought she told you."
"She didn't. Hmm, is that earl grey tea?"
"Yeah, a large for you, two Oreo wows for the littles, strawberry lemonade for August and a large cocoa cream one for me. I'd get one for Mama but she won't be here."
"Kids, come downstairs."
"Bubble tea?!" The littles took their drinks and said thank you.
"Thanks idiot."
"August." He stopped and Daddy gave me a kiss.
"Thanks ladybug. We appreciate it."
"Welcome guys. I have an online assignment. I'll be upstairs."
"You don't want to help with dinner?" Amaya asked.
"I'll come down as soon as I'm done. It's just one pre-algebra assignment."
"Alright. Do well bug." I went upstairs and started my homework.
"This is really easy and it's only 10 questions."
Josh😍: How was school?
Me: Great.
I put my phone down and went to go help Daddy with dinner.
"Just in time. We're going full German today. Help me make the schnitzels."
"Sure Dad." He's showed me how to make them before and I'm really good at it now.
"Where's August? Er sollte helfen." He really should be helping anyways.
"Trying out for the basketball team."
"Ohh. Okay."
"The littles are gone and off at a friends. They're growing up."
"Look at you getting emotional. Are they coming back for dinner?"
"Amaya's eating out, Andrew is coming back." He said as I was frying.
"Good job. They look great."
"Thanks Daddy." I took them out the frying pan and put them on a plate.
"Hello there," Mama came in and set down her bags.
"Hey Allie," She gave me a hug and a kiss.
"How was your first day of 7th grade? You know what? How about we save that for later over a tv show?"
"Cool."
"Where's the littles?" The doorbell ring and Mommy went to answer.
"Hi Mama!"
"Hey Andy, How was your day?"
"Good." He sat in the dining room as I already set down the plates and forks and knives.
"That's great honey. You guys did dinner, looks amazing." She popped a fry in her mouth and put the food in the dumbwaiter.
"Andrew, set the food on the table please and thanks."
"Yes Mama." I went to the dining room myself via the elevator and sat.
"Who's praying tonight?"
"I will," my brother said. After he prayed we started to eat and August came up the stairs.
"Well, hello August."
"Guess who's on the basketball team." We all clapped and I felt quite happy for him. Even though he's a pain in the butt.
"That's great honey! We're so proud of you!"
"Thanks. Who made the schnitzel?"
"Allison."
"Who know you could actually cook?!"
"You're literally so annoying." My Mom gave me a kiss and I felt quite happy. Wholesome family time is great, right?
