Mama's Trailer Thingy
I haven't went to school since my running away thing. Though I have been completing class work and homework so my grades were going back up to where they'd usually be.
"You done?"
"No Mama. I'm almost done."
"Okay. I wanna look over it when you're done." She gave me a kiss and got up.
"Are you gonna come and watch me act?"
"I don't feel like it Mama."
"I'm gonna get Kelli to stay with you. Is that okay?"
"No problemo." She practically screamed her name while keeping the door cocked wide open.
"I'm coming!" I heard from outside. Kelli came in and sat down next to me.
"Watch her carefully."
"I will! Break a leg Mariska." She smiled and mouthed thanks.
"Hey love. Are you alright?"
"Not really." Usually I'd put my head on her lap whenever I wanna talk about something but she's pregnant now and stuff.
"Come here, don't be afraid." I moved closer to her and she put her arm around me and I laid my head on her chest.
"What's bothering you?"
"Life."
"What about it?"
"No, I can't. I didn't even tell my mother about it. I said one part but not the other."
"Why didn't you tell Mariska? Is there something you should tell me?"
"I'm not answering that?"
"Who's hurting you?"
"Nobody."
"The bruise right there says different." I pulled my sweater back up and sighed.
"I did it to myself."
"What do you mean?"
"I hurt myself."
"Have you been cutting?"
"No. I just hit myself with things and sometimes I bang my head on the wall. I got a bump from it last time." I cried hard.
"I had to hide the bruise from my parents so I stayed in my room all day."
"Oh my goodness. Why are you injuring yourself?"
"It makes the pain go away sometimes. Please don't tell my mom. Please!" Kelli became more worried as I cried.
"What pain? Tell me about the pain. Does it have to do with your brother? Is someone doing something to you?" I pinched myself until it turned red.
"Don't do that."

Home
August walked into my room and sat down.
"What are you doing here? You have a whole floor dedicated to you boys."
"I just wanted to check on you. No need for the attitude."
"Why do you want to check on me all of a sudden?"
"Because I wanted to know if it's true."
"What's true?"
"You know what I'm here for." I panicked.
"GET OUT!"
"We just want to help you! Can't you understand that?!"
"What is all of this noise about?" My Dad came in to see me on the verge of tears and my brother looking the same way.
"What happened?"
"Don't worry about it dad." He left and dad came to sit down on the bed with me.
"You can tell me what's going on, can't you?"
"No."
"Why did August come in here?"
"He wanted to know something, if something was true."
"If What was true?"
"Don't worry about it."
"If you don't tell me I'll talk to August, I'm pretty sure you'd rather have me hear it from you yourself."
"Leave him out of this will you? It isn't his business. And I never said whether it was true or not."
"What?"
"I said I wasn't telling you."
"Why don't you let us help you?"
"I want to talk to Mama."
****
"I've been injuring myself."
"How?"
"I would bang my head against walls and things like that."
"Allison... why?"
"Because, it helped I guess."
"Sweetheart, just talk to me."
"I need to talk to Jacky."
"Allie,"
"I'm coming back." I texted her.
"Alright, It looks like she has to to come to me."
It didn't really feel weird running out of the house like I did. It felt natural in way. Though it really shouldn't be.
"Jacky!" She ran up to me and gave me a hug.
"So you just left you're house like that?"
"Mhm."
"Pretty brave of you."
"Believe me. I could do much worse Jacky! Come on let's go get some sort of a snack to eat."
"Oh no, please don't let it be some sort of rich people food."
"Um,I just want a crispy chicken sandwich! There's nothing rich about that."
"You could easily make it rich people food by slapping on some toppings that I've never heard of!"

My Bedroom (Peter's Perspective)
"Mariska leave her. She'll come back home."
"She's over here in the streets of New York I cant just leave her."
"She's going through a thing, she'll come back. I'm positive."
"Did you allow her to do this?"
"Yes actually."
"Why? She literally ran away the other day."
"She needs to release all of that energy."
"Peter, do you hear how you sound?! This is our kid we're talking about, if someone sees her roaming the streets like this it isn't going to look good on the papers. So best believe we are going to go find her this time around."
"Leave her. She'll come back."
"I can go find her without you Peter." She grabbed her coat and left as quickly as possible. She walked out but then turned back.
"Put a jacket on, you're coming." Before I knew it I was in the car driving and looking for my daughter.
"Turn left."

McDonald's (Allie's Perspective)
"My mother doesn't really let me eat McDonald's. Because it isn't healthy and all of that kind of stuff. This tastes super good." I smelled the food again before putting more of it in my mouth.
"I'm glad you're enjoying it. Why don't you buy some more to take home?"
"I did."
"You're eating like your haven't eaten in days! Is everything alright at home?"
"I won't say everything's okay, but I've been eating less. So I decided I'd eat a lot while I'm out here."
"We should start making moves. You never know if your parents are tracking your moves."
"Let me just turn find my iPhone off." I went into settings and turned it off.
"Let's go, I saw something that'd look super cute on you."
