"I'm sorry!" I yelled. I got up and went to the other room away from all of the commotion. I'm such a snitch!
"Allie, what's wrong? What's wrong?" My dad said running in after me. He grabbed me a bottle of water and handed it to me gently.
"I'm just scared."
"Why are you scared?"
"I don't want August to be mad at me Daddy."
"Why?"
"Just ask Mama, you don't want to hear it from me." My dad looked ready to say, 'What is it?' and I stopped him before he could.
"Trust me Dad, you don't want to hear it from me."
"Alright, I'll go see what the ruckus is about."
"Bring the littles here, they don't need to hear it. Please Dad."
"I will." I looked out the window and sighed.
"Allison, why is August in trouble?"
"You guys just wait here okay? This isn't age appropriate for you." My dad said sternly. I tried to keep them entertained for a little while. We played some games for a while and then my Dad came in.
"Allison,"
"I'm coming." I went back into my parents room since the two were connected and I sat down next to my mother.
"I'm just going to ask you a question, and I want you to answer me honestly okay? And I know you'd never do this, Alright?"
"What?"
"Did anyone send you the picture that was sent to August's phone?"
"No, I promise."
"Don't cry, it's okay. I know you wouldn't." She wiped my tear and gave me a hug.
"So August, why would you say that Allison received those photos when it's clear that she didn't."
"Because that's what someone told me."
"So you're telling me you and Emma exchanged these photos. And somehow Allie found out."
"August, trying to put the blame on someone else isn't going to help your situation."
"It doesn't change the fact that you sent inappropriate pictures to a girl. Do you understand how serious this is?" I got up and left the room because I really didn't want to listen.

School
As I walked down the halls people were staring at me. I hated it, terribly. They were whispering and I wasn't very sure if it was about August or me but I still hated it nevertheless.
"Isn't that his little sister?" I heard while walking to English.
"Hey," Josh said to me.
"Hey," I sat down next to him and he touched my hand.
"Don't worry okay? What your brother did has nothing to do with you as a person. Don't listen to what those 8th graders are saying. Alright?"
"Alright."
"You're nothing like that. Hell, you don't even want me to touch you certain ways."
"That's true."
"If you get bothered by these people, it'll make them think you are what they say." Josh is like my ultimate therapist. He helps me with all- well most of my issues.
"Thanks butthead."
"I'm not sure which to focus on. The insult or the thanks."
"Oh, how about a shut up."
"Why is everyone moody today?" He raised his eyebrows and looked at me.
"You know I can't relate to that."
"Thirsty!" I turned around and looked at the person behind me.
"What did you just say?"
"Your friend is thirsty bro, just like her brother. It runs in the family." I was prepared to let it all out in front of these people but Josh stopped me.
"You're speaking to her boyfriend, care to repeat that again?!" He stood up and looked angry as heck.
"Josh-"
"No it's okay, he wants to be brave. Go ahead. Anything you say to her, you can say to me." And then it all came so quickly. Before I even knew it Josh was fighting him and the teacher asked someone to get help. I sat there in shock. This is all my fault! Now Joshua might get in big fat trouble!
"Both of you, out!" Ugh, this day just went from unsatisfactory to terrible! I just wanted to go home in this moment and I sprinted out of my classroom as everyone watched me. The dean most likely saw me and said,
"Allison? You can not just sprint out of class young lady. Go back this instant or you'll have detention." I turned around and she saw the look on my face.
"Allison, do you need to go see one of the counselors?"
"No, I'll be fine."
"Allison, go grab your bags and take a walk with me."
"I'm-"
"Come on now." I went in and grabbed my bag. Which was accompanied by so many stares and then I went with Ms.Bailey.
"Why did you walk out of class like that?"
"I feel like it was my fault they fought."
"Why did they fight? If you know why, you should tell me so I know how to handle it."
"I don't want to talk about it. Just please don't let Josh get in trouble. He was only trying to save me."
"I can only lessen the punishment once you tell me something Allison."
"Can we go into your office please?" She nodded and she opened the door for me where Josh and the other guy were sitting facing away each other and filing incident reports.
"I suppose we should take this somewhere else."
"Yes please." We walked to a more private area and I sat down.
"So basically, the other guy-"
"Tristan."
"Mhm, said I was being thirsty. Like my brother."
"Okay,"
"And Josh said what did you say and he said it again. Josh said that he was being really brave. Next thing I know Tristan started talking about fighting and he hit Joshua first and they went at it. This is all my fault."
"This isn't mot your fault at all. I'll make sure to give Joshua the lesser punishment because I know you'd never lie about something like this. Thanks for being honest with me." I nodded and got up.

Temporary Home
"How come you're home at this time? You're usually earlier." Mama questioned.
"I had something to do."
"What? Why do you look like that?"
"I need some privacy."
"Did you have a bad day at school?"
"I'll talk to you about it after, just please give me a few minutes."
"I'm here when you're ready." I closed the door, jumped on my bed and started to cry again. The sadness still hasn't went away and I was ready for it to leave!
