Yoongi was used to people leaving him. Used to having others use the man until they got what they wanted and completely left him dry. But he had done that as well. He had manipulated people into giving him things just for the sake of his own guilty mindset. Had killed family just to save his back instead of theirs. And right now the man had never thought that karma would come back to bite him in the ass. That it would never come crashing down on his life in a time where he needed happiness the most. But that's how karma works.

"Jungkook, give me that!" He watched as Ming lunged towards the boy with an irritated huff escaping her lips. He had snatched away her bag of chips.

"I had them first!" He grunted. Moving to the opposite side of the living area while glaring over at Ming who returned the gesture. Walking in circles around the couches where the rest of the boys sat either watching or playing video games.

"No you didn't." She rolled her eyes. Continuing to move towards the boy who began running side to side. Dropping his head back with the chips held up in the air so they could diligently fall into his mouth.

"You fucking—" And with that, Ming watched him stumble over and fall to the ground. Having tripped over a piece of furniture which cut off her words but instead fill the air with the most beautiful laugher.

"Yoongi baby, look at him." She giggled out at the man who was too immersed in his thoughts to even spare a glance at Jungkook who laid sprawled out on the ground, groaning in pain. His body covered in chips and head tossed to the side.

"Yoongi?" Her laughter slowly came to a halt. Realizing that the man she loves hadn't even turned to witness what she had asked of him.

So with slow footsteps, she approached where he sat on the couch with a half empty bottle of soju hanging from the tips of his digits. Wrapping a soft hand through his black locks which grew accustomed to having her fingers latched within them.

"Baby, what's wrong?" God she was so gentle with him. So patient and so caring towards the man who never had anyone treat him that way. And it made him fucking sick to know that some other guy was receiving her attention as well. That some other guy was wrapping the woman in the tips of their digits and untangling her from his own.

"Just tired." He got to his feet. Pressing a light hand to the small of her back before connecting their lips in a kiss that told her something was up with him. But before she could even say a word, he was already moving towards their bedroom. Needing to leave the area in order to clear his mind.

"Ming." It was Jin who caught the girl's attention. Seizing her gaze away from Yoongi's frame that became hidden behind their bedroom door, and onto the elder as she curiously nodded in a gesture for him to continue.

"Everything okay?" Jin had to stay on top of things. Had to know wether all was going well in the house, in order to keep things straight. So as she waved a simple hand in the air with a stuttered everything's fine, Jin only gave a hesitant good. Peering his gaze back to the tv while Ming followed Yoongi to their bedroom. Opening the door in a cautious manner only to see him sitting on the edge of the bed with his head down, speaking to someone on the phone.

"Well how much do you need?" She could hear the irritation in his voice. Taking the opportunity to climb onto the bed behind him in which he just barely flinched from. Having not heard her enter the room in the first place.

"Tee, all I need is a number. It's not that fucking hard." With a grunt, he became even more annoyed. Feeling Ming's lips trailing along his back while she rested a cheek against it. Sliding her hands up and down his abdomen before moving her kisses up to his neck. Softly whispering sweet nothings into his ear because she knew that this would calm him down. But it wouldn't. Because the image of Hyungsik holding onto her kept flashing through his mind.

"Ming baby, not now, okay?" He pulled the phone away from his ear. Peering back at the woman who had never been rejected by him. And who had never thought that him doing so would hurt so badly.

"I'm sorry." Her voice was sickeningly soft. Almost incoherent as she backed away from him. Scooting over to her side of the bed only to watch him go back to talking on the phone.

"Alright then. I'll have Hoseok bring it to you by tomorrow." And with that, he hung up. Releasing a tensed sigh as he got to his feet. Meeting Ming's eyes that were ridden with dejection. Causing Yoongi's heart to clench just a little more because he knew that what he was doing was wrong. That he shouldn't always put himself before others. But that's all he was taught. He was taught how to survive. To never allow someone to see how you really felt even if he had let Ming see him at his most vulnerable moments.

But right now he wasn't focused on keeping her heart safe. Wasn't focused on keeping her from being the one who's broken in the end. Because at the end of the day survival was key. And Yoongi was willing to do fucking anything in order to survive.

So as he shoved his phone into the back pocket of his jeans with a gruffly I'll be back later, he shut off the feelings he was never allowed to have as a kid. Not being able to look Ming in the eyes anymore than he already had because he would've seen the tears relishing within them. And he wasn't ready for that. He wasn't ready for his heart to be broken just yet. Because although he wanted to enjoy having her until she left, he didn't want Hyungsik to be the cause of it. He wanted the blame to be on him. He wanted to show that he wasn't as good as Hyusngik. That he wasn't good enough to receive anymore of her love because he wanted her to have the world. He wanted her to be given ones time completely and not have to stress about whether they were going to be coming home alive or not.

And he knew that Hyungsik would be the one for that. That he would give her that normal lifestyle that he could never give, even if it meant him being completely broken in the end. Because like I said, Yoongi was taught to survive. And Ming's happiness. . . was what made him survive.
