You slid past William to go after jim, knowing it wasn't good to let him be on his own when he was mad. Same goes with William, but he had Marcus and Alex to watch over right now.
"Jim, what's going on...? Do you think it's Harvey—?" You ask, taking his arm in attempt to calm him, although you knew it wouldn't work. He was looking down at his phone, scrolling through something as you spoke, only half paying attention.
"Oh I know it is, my dear~ William's mother was right to stay away from him, although I fear she's already dead."
"..... what...?" You ask, your eyes immediately saddening at the lost hope that William, Alex, and their mother could be happily reunited. Jim did not respond to your dismay, so you lowered your gaze to the ground as you walked.
".... maybe she's not dead... maybe... maybe when Harvey 'died', he came back with his 'bad side' more under control...?" You ask jim, scanning his expression pleadingly, trying to see if he had any possible doubt that could make him second guess the conclusion he had come to. In response, Jim gave you a look that shattered your hopes immediately. So, you broke the gaze once more, instead watching your shoes as you walked.
"... Alex could... bring her back though, right?? He can do that, can't he??" You said quickly, in denial that she was dead for real this time. You'd just found out she was alive, she couldn't be gone... she couldn't.
Jim stopped in his tracks, grabbing your arm to force you to do the same. His eyes were dead and filled with hatred- not for you, for Harvey.
"Think it through, my dear~ we tell Alex he can save her, he brings her back, and becomes completely destroyed when Harvey kills her once again. One of two things can happen at that point. There could be a continuous loop of Alex trying to save her, until he runs out of blood to give her and no doubt he would die as well. Or, he would lose his mind and go completely insane trying to save her, giving Harvey exactly what he wanted to begin with. Either way Harvey wins." Jim states matter of factly, forcing you into a reality check that you really did not want. After staring at you a few more moments to read the acceptance of the situation on your face, he started off again in a random direction. So, naturally, you followed.
"..... so where are we going?" You ask as jim sighs, evidently tired of answering questions.
"To pay a visit to Mrs. Harvey." You stared at him quietly, knowing what he meant- if she was dead, Harvey would have left a little 'something' for them. All part of the game... one that you were all very done with playing.
