"Yeup! Let's go!" The curly-haired blonde smiled happily at William, before glancing over his shoulder slightly to see you.
"Oh- hey-" he greeted with a smile, although seemed to shrink back a little at seeing you. So, you waved as kindly as you could at him. He looked maybe a couple years younger than William, around 20 or so. He didn't seem to look the part of an 'openly gay guy', but his mannerisms and smiles to William suggested otherwise. You concluded that although he was shy around you, he was likely a lot more open with William to the point where he constantly flirted. He was cute; the type of guy that you see in movies with the stereotypical 'gay best friend'. However he seemed to have some deep emotional issues, judging by the fact William said he was timid around girls. Not only that, but you noticed it was to the extent that he turned slightly pale at seeing you. Harsh breakup in the past, leading him to turn 'the other way' in relationships? Unlikely. It seemed more plausible that he always leaned towards guys in a relationship, however his parents didn't approve- more specifically, his mother. To the point where she became emotionally, or perhaps physically abusive to him, leading ty to have his guards up around all women. .... hah. You've been around jim so long you've been figuring out how to deduce things like him- this was great.
"Hello Ty, it's nice to meet you! William's told me all about you!" You smiled at him, he kind of laughed and looked at William as if to say 'ooooh~??????' William shook his head and facepalmed, evidently blushing from embarrassment underneath his hand.
"... let's go, Candy's waiting to meet us." William mumbled, hopping off the porch in hopes to stop that conversation right then and there. You grinned to yourself, immediately excited for the opportunity to constantly fluster William with his gay denial. You felt a little bad for candy, however it was just harmless shipping~ people do it all the time.
"So, Ty, how long have you and William known each other?" You ask him, hoping to break the ice a little bit with him. Ty, who was walking on the other side of William smiled over at you, obviously very uncomfortable with being there but trying to push himself nevertheless.
"We grew up together, I guess. Drifted for a bit after Alex died...? But just recently I guess we've started talking again. It's great."
"Oh my god you're like an adorable married couple!!!!" You teased, noting Ty's eyes light up happily as he laughed. William flushed red and stopped in his tracks, crossing his arms and glaring at you both.
"Shut. The hell. Up. I have a bloody girlfriend. We are going to meet her. I am NOT gay. And you better not say things like that around her or I will murder you both without hesitation." William threatened, you stared at him a moment then slowly broke into a smile again.
"... right. Sorry. Of course." You nodded, sharing a 'let's not push him TOO much' look with Ty. Ty nodded slowly, before looking over at William apologetically.
"I know.. sorry William." He said, his voice a bit quieter now than before. William immediately seemed to snap out of his sternness at seeing Ty's slight mood change, immediately forgiving him.
"It's alright kiddo, no worries. ... let's go find candy." William replied, ruffling Ty's hair as he walked past him. Ty's smile slowly came back again as he followed, seeming to take a moment to get his emotions back in check as you set off to find William's lady friend.
Without warning, she hopped up behind all three of you and jumped on William's back with a laugh. (Which scared Ty half to death, you noted.) William laughed as well, shaking his head.
"Candy you gotta stop doing that." He chuckled, letting her down to the ground. She smiled, hugging him tightly as soon as he set her down.
"I knowwww- I just missed you so much." She quipped happily, you noticed as she gave you and Ty and death glare over William's shoulder just before William broke the hug. You blinked a few times before you crossed your arms, your eyebrows drawing together. EXCUSE her?!!? She's not the only one who could be William's friend!!!
"Heh, I missed you too. Anyways. Candy, you already know y/n, and this is Ty- we kind of grew up together." William introduced them, you noticed Ty smile and nod quietly, only to be countered with a cold stare from candy when William wasn't looking. Jesus, this lady was psychotic.
Authors Note:
If you were wondering about what happened to Ty the night before, don't worry I have not forgotten, and neither has William.. it won't be dismissed, ahah. Also, I'll put a quick doodle of Ty just here so you get the general idea of him. He's gonna be important ;)
