A sequel to my Jim Moriarty x Reader story.
Living with Jim is hard. You face the troubles of balancing your relationship with jim, taking care of two recently (more or less) orphaned boys, and dealing with oncoming trials that you have yet to perc...
You and William escaped just as you heard shouts coming towards the room, quickly making your way back to where Jim had been. Jim was talking to Marcus about something, seeming confused. Likely about the fact you had left Alex behind....
.... you can't believe you did that. You can't. Bloody. Believe it. Marcus got in your head, and now Alex was there, left alone... all alone. Jesus... he was going to die..
You felt your eyes light up with anger, jim immediately noticed and went to your side.
"Y/n it's okay. Marcus is right- there has to be a reason Alex isn't dead yet. It might be good to leave him- we can make Harvey think he has the upper hand for longer. Did you see him, by the way?" Jim asked, to which you shook your head.
"Nope. Not a sign." You mumbled, your anger level still off the charts. You were pissed... at Harvey, at Marcus, at yourself..... you couldn't believe you just did that.
Jim's phone buzzes from his pocket, you saw him pull it out to check, immediately his face flushing pale. That was a rare thing for jim- even if something was terribly wrong, he never showed it. Never. Your eyebrows drew together, you placed a hand lightly on his forearm as he quickly turned off his phone.
"Jim... what's wrong?" You ask worriedly, noting him glance over at William slightly. Just enough for you to notice. Oh my god.... something happened to Ty. .... OF BLOODY COURSE SOMETHING HAPPENED TO TY.
".... lets head back now." Jim stated, trying to regain his usual calm demeanour. ... It didn't seem to work. You nodded, glancing over at William, then Marcus. Marcus was still silent, he seemed to be doing that a lot lately... he must've missed Alex a lot... you felt him there.
The four of you headed back to Jim's, however Jim led you on a detour through a park. It was getting darker out now, the sky was gray and hazy with clouds. It was depressing enough without the evident oncoming bad news. You heard voices up ahead, and Jim stopped, his expression blank. You could see a small crowd gathered ahead, when jim slowly turned and faced William.
".... Willy boy, im sorry." Jim said simply, hands in his pockets. William looked at jim confused a moment, you noticed Marcus take Williams hand in attempt to comfort him. Swallowing, you looked at William sadly until he seemed to slowly clue in to what was happening. When he did, he completely tensed up, his face completely expressionless. You watched as he pulled away from Marcus, simply heading towards the crowd. Jim went no further, you knew that if police were coming, which they likely were, jim had to stay back. Although, if you were correct from rumours you've heard going around, there was theory that 'jim moriarty' never existed, he was simply an actor named 'Richard Brooke'. Regardless, staying away from police was a good idea...
You followed William as he approached the scene, pushing his way through the crowd, stone faced. You saw him stop in his tracks once he got to the middle, his breath hitching in his chest. You nudged your way forward until you were beside him, looking down in horror.
And, as you had expected... there was Ty's body on the ground, completely lifeless. You breathed out, then quickly assured the few people around you that you would wait here for the police and they could leave. Hesitantly the crowd began to diminish, leaving you, William, and Ty. You slowly brought one hand to your mouth, looking at Williams blank, broken face. Then, something unexpected happened.
William fell to his knees, his eyebrows slowly drawing together as his expression contorted into one you never wanted to see on him again. He pulled his dead friend into his arms, and for the first time in your knowing William... you saw him cry.
