You and Jim began your journey home, both of you walking in silence. You were still cross with jim, and didn't want to talk to him beyond need without finding out what he was hiding first. Jim was quite, not initiating conversation either. You could tell that part of him closing himself off was from stress- he had a lot to plan out and if it didn't all go perfectly according to how he predicted, everything might completely fall apart.
You got back to Jim's building, finding everything as normal. Good. For once you left, and no one died and/or got severely injured. You pulled out your phone, sending a text to William.
'Hey, I'm here. Meet you in my room? ... I think I still have my pillow Fort up.' You couldn't help but smile to yourself at the thought- it'd been forever since you were in your own room last. Usually it's Jim's..
'Perfect. See you in a few minutes.' Was the response as you headed off to ensure your room was more or less tidy.
William's POV:
"Keep an eye on Marcus, I should be back soon enough. And Ty, please don't leave this room— you'll be safe as long as you're here, but as soon as you leave I can't guarantee anything. Besides, we can't risk y/n seeing you. And.... text me if anything happens. Or if you get bored. Or whatever. I can find an excuse to leave whenever, even if it's just to check in periodically." William instructed as he made some tea- yes, that's right. He makes tea in his room because he's a posh British tea-addict. Fear him.
Ty smiled and nodded, seeming quite content where he was.
"Of course.. don't worry, I'm not going anywhere. Just stop stressing- everything's going to turn out alright." Ty said optimistically, evidently in attempt to cheer his friend up. William nodded slowly in response.
"Yes... I know. ... I have no bloody clue how I'm going to pull off pretending you're dead with y/n, though... she's likely going to have questions." William mumbled, sighing. Ty seemed to think for a moment, before smiling.
"Wait, so, basically, you need to look sad?? Aren't you lucky I'm severely depressed- I'm an excellent coach-" Ty laughed, William couldn't help but smile slightly. Bloody Ty, joking about mental illnesses... then again, it was a sign he was doing well presently. Which was good.
Ty inspected William a moment, before going to him and lightly tapping his shoulders.
"Slouch more. Do that thing where your eyes kinda just go cold- yeah, that. And don't be afraid to smile a little- just don't laugh. Smiling is good, but you want to seem like you're genuinely broken and don't know how to be fixed. Not sure how you can fake that but then again, life is hell and it certainly can't be THAT hard to be a pessimist... oh yes, and..." Ty smiled, ruffling Williams hair. William looked at him confused for a moment, Ty still smiling.
"... you want to show that the world is completely falling apart around you, you don't have time to keep yourself perfectly in order. .... also your hair smells good." Ty grinned, immediately William looked away and blushed. Jesus Ty.
"No no no don't do that! Definitely no blushing, your boyfriend just died!!!" Ty laughed, William coughed uncomfortably unable to keep himself from blushing more- Jesus, it's like Ty couldn't physically NOT flirt.
"... alright ah— I'll get it together once I'm there. ... I'll see you in a bit." William stated, picking up the tea he had made for himself and y/n. William used to be a bloody good liar, however considering the fact the only family he had left was completely falling apart, he had more important things to worry about than working to completely suppress his emotions like jim taught him.
Nevertheless, William set off down the hall to go meet you in your room. While hoping to god he didn't completely blow this...
