Chapter 60

You woke up in the morning beside jim- the best bloody feeling in the world. You felt a bit better... things didn't seem quite as doom and gloom as they had before. And then it hit you. TY WAS ALIVE!!!!! Ooooooh you HAD to go see him!! Fear of girls or not, you were sitting down with him and a cup of Williams Tea™.

You sat up, careful not to wake jim as you quickly got dressed and texted William.

'Heya Willy boy!! You and Ty up for some company??'

'Yea sure, I'll make some tea.' YesssSSSS you loved William. He gets you. He's like. The perfect gay best friend/brother.

You slipped out of the room, heading down the hall to Williams room. Technically Ty could go back to his place now- except... well, Candy was still out there. And if she found out ty was alive, well..... .... basically things would end up in a terrible loop that didn't end until someone had died permanently. You knocked lightly on Williams door, which was opened by him soon after.

"Good morning y/n, come in." William greeted, letting you in the room. You smiled, glancing over at Ty who seemed EXTREMELY uncomfortable and like he might end up crying any second. Wow, that whole candy thing really messed him up... well, you'd leave him be until hopefully he realized you weren't going to murder him.

..... probably the fact you just killed a man yesterday didn't help Ty's fear...

.... thank god you weren't saying any of this out loud. You smiled to yourself, internally laughing at how stupid you were being- but hey. ... you were in a good mood.

William looked at you a moment, seeming to notice the mood change. After a second, he blushed and nodded slightly to himself before turning around and finishing up making some tea. You laughed slightly, embarrassed- you hated that he was clever enough to figure out what you did last night- then again, it didn't really matter to you—- William was the one who ended up more embarrassed than anything, so HA!! Well, at least you wouldn't have to deal with trying to come up with a response to the awkward icebreaker of 'how did you sleep'.

"So, Ty... you're alive- congrats!!" You smiled, unsure of how to begin to express your happiness to someone who cheated death- nevermind someone who was terrified of you and also cheated death. Ty nodded and smiled slightly. William glanced over at Ty, then at you.

"..... actually, one moment sorry I just remembered I- have to go check up on Alex." William excused himself, leaving you alone with Ty. You shifted your weight, trying to think of a way to make this less......... horrible. But, before you had to, Ty forced himself to speak up.

"I-I-I'm sorry, t-this is ridiculous, I know-" he stuttered, and you were quick to try to reassure him.

"No Ty, no-! Not at all! I totally get it— I may not know all the factors that have contributed to this fear but I know there has been a lot. It's okay— I'm not offended, everyone's scared of something. Secretly, I'm absolutely terrified of walnuts." You grinned. Ty couldn't help but laugh, his eyebrows drawing together in confusion.

"What—??!"

"They're all wrinkly on the outside like a prune, however when you open the shell the inside looks more swirly- like a brain!!! You can't trust something when it's at that level of deception-" you laughed, earning another laugh from Ty as well.

"I— okay, that's— that's reassuring..."

"Point is, don't worry about it. I got your back. You put up with me for a bit, and I'll eat a walnut- we can face our fears together. ..... and boldly go where no man has gone before." You grinned; immediately ty gasped and covered his mouth quickly with both hands, eyes wide.

"Did....... did you just......???"

"Star Trek? Heck yea! What, you know it??" You asked with a grin- Okay, maybe you've seen a little Star Trek- not enough to be a super fan, but- you got the vibes just by looking at him that Ty was a Trekkie. Ty squeaked, hands still over his mouth but he was evidently grinning like heck. Bingo.

William came back into the room, sighing softly.

"Alex is still asleep, but soon he— ... wait. ... blimey, what did I miss—?" He asked, raising an eyebrow at seeing Ty's shared grin with you.

"STAR TREK-" Ty blurted, before squeaking and covering his mouth once again. You laughed at his struggle to not go into complete fangirl mode- okay, that was easier than you thought to draw Ty out. William rolled his eyes and smiled, facepalming.

"Agh... nerds."
