Jim's POV:
Jim sat at his desk, scrolling through the ever growing popularity of Harvey's 'product.'
Suddenly, his laptop screen lit up with a call- from unknown. God... it was Harvey. Jim ran his hands through his hair, before answering the call.
"Jim~ it's been a while."
"Yes Harvey, it has. What the hell do you want." Jim asked, his eyes dark however the ever threatening calm smile remained present on his features- that may have been partially due to the fact he was imagining Harvey being murdered in millions of the most painful ways.
"Have you figured out my little game yet~?"
"Yes, congratulations on your newfound fame. Let me know when you're dead, maybe the texts I've sent to you threatening to murder you will be worth something." Jim growled, unable to hold back the intense hatred he was feeling for the man. Harvey simply smiled, seeming unfazed.
"The kid- he's there, isn't he~ come here little one, don't be afraid~." Harvey purred, jim glanced up to see Marcus completely tense up where he was sitting.
"Leave Marcus out of this, Harvey. This is between you and I."
"Actually, it's between me and my sons, you just happened to get in the way. And, bonus, Marcus is a link to making my children even more miserable than they already are~ although I do enjoy the fact Marcus must be dying inside, realizing he's failed Alex and he'll never forgive him~." Harvey hummed, jim stood up quickly, rage consuming him. Milliseconds later, Marcus had quickly appeared on screen, standing a bit in front of Jim in attempt to calm him down.
"Heya hairy Harvey how are you!! Been a while since we've talked, I missed you!!" Marcus quipped with what genuinely looked like a happy smile. Harvey's eyes immediately darkened at remembering how he hated the kid.
".... I can't wait to rip your eyes out and use them as buttons...." Harvey growled, Marcus's grin didn't waver.
"Aww!! Im so flattered you'd go such a distance to ensure we could see each other all the time!!!"
Oh my god. Jim coughed and quickly went off screen, holding back the slightest bit of a laugh. Okay. Respect, Marcus. Respect.
"ENOUGH." Harvey snapped, jim glanced at the screen to see his face burning red with anger. "... see these people outside~?" Harvey flipped the screen. "That's called a paparazzi~ I'm untouchable~ I have Alex half dead, I broke William by killing his best friend, and as for my wife... oh, isn't Alex going to love hearing how I killed her. AGAIN. and, better yet, how he'll no longer be able to save her." Harvey smiled devilishly.
Jim ended the call.
Marcus was silent, but he looked up at jim questioningly, evidently to see if he was okay. Jim simply pulled his phone out, scrolling through something.
"... what are you doing..?" Marcus asked. Jim raised an eyebrow, glancing up at the kid just barely over the screen.
"... trying to find William's mom." Jim stated in response, knowing it was time. He had to find her, NOW. The more help they had, the better. Right now, they needed it more than ever.
"Jim... before you do, I have to tell you something.. it's about y/n...." Marcus said quietly, placing a hand on Jim's forearm tentatively, looking up at him worriedly.
