Jim's POV:
Jim, of course, knew exactly what was going on. Alex would have too, if he was here. Those two shared the seemingly obvious knowledge of how psychotic Candace really was- and to what extent she would go to make sure William remained hers and hers only. Jim was convinced that it was her that was working with Harvey- she sold them out on how to kill Alex. For what reason? Simply put, she didn't want William caring about anyone more than he did her. So, she helped Harvey take Alex out of the picture. But Jim knew it would get worse. So much worse. Because William still had people he cared about, besides Candace. And by the looks of it, she was beginning to not be one of them at all. Willy boy was getting tired of how clingy she was. Jim knew if those two broke up they'd have another major problem on their hands. So, Jim's solution- Candy was an inn into their lives for Harvey. Jim would use that to their advantage, feeding her false information when he could.
Or get William to get information on Harvey from her somehow, without letting him know that his girlfriend was a murderous psychopath that was helping him, .... that should be interesting to see. Nevertheless, it had to be done.
He pulled out his phone, sending a text to Harvey's old number, quite certain he kept it even after he 'died'. Alex no doubt sent Harvey number a ton of 'grieving' messages after he 'died', lots of people would. Just the typical 'I miss you so much, dad. I love you so much, I can't wait to see you again...' and whatnot. Harvey must have loved that, jim doubted he could throw away his phone and miss watching the people he hated the most go through so much suffering. So, jim's Text to Harvey went a little something like this:
'We know you have Alex, Harvey. If you have laid a finger on him when I find you, I am going to kill you in six painful steps. First, I will slowly rip out your eyes so you can't see what I'm about to do to you, you will fear every coming second of not knowing what to expect. Second, I will sew your mouth together so every time you scream in pain, you will be inflicting even more on yourself. Third, I will rip out all of your limbs, one by one. Fourth, I'll listen in bloody delight as you beg for mercy while I crush each and every one of your ribs. Fifth... I'm going to throw your torso through a wall, down 20 stories and jump down myself to see if you're still alive. Lastly if you havent been so lucky to have died already, I'm going to slowly crush your skull with my bare hands, listening to the heavenly sound as it collapses in on itself through your excruciated screams.
Have a good day~.'
Jim put his phone away, before standing up, brushing his suit off.
"Willy boy, I believe it might be safest if you brought your little friends to stay here with us for a while~ just until we can get Alex back. And Harvey is dead." He hummed, looking at William with a calm smile. William stared at his boss blankly, before slowly nodding in response.
Alex's POV:
So much pain... what was going on...?
Alex attempted to sit up, however a strong hand immediately shoved him back down again. Alex winced, aching all over. He was shaky, weak, and dizzy... not a good combination.
"Wh...?" Alex asked, slowly opening his tired eyes, his vision just barely clear enough to make out the form in front of him, recognizing it as none other than his dead father.
"Shhhh Alex~ go back to sleep. And don't wake upppp~~" the man cooed in a deceptively soft, soothing voice.
"D-dad... w-why..." Alex choked out, his eyes tearing up. The man, seeming annoyed with the talking simply placed a line of duct tape over the boys' mouth.
"Don't talk~ it's all going to be okay. You're just going to be in a peaceful sleep. Forever." The man laughed harshly, Alex felt the tears beginning to roll down his face as he closed his eyes, no longer wanting to be awake to see what was happening. He moved his arm ever so slightly, only to realize something was attached to it— something... pokey. .... oh my god. Harvey was draining all the blood from Alex. ... all of it. But... but...
Alex stared to squirm, his chest beginning to shudder with muffled sobs. He didn't want to die. He was scared, so scared..... he didn't want to die...
