What's she doing here?
"Just in time." Jemma said.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Mack asked.
"We came to find James. We thought he may be targeted by the Watchdogs, but..." Jemma explained, trailing off.
"We?" Phil repeated rather confused.
The door then opened again, causing us to look over to find Daisy. I was relieved to see her after all these years. I glanced over at Phil to see a mixture of feelings on his face. I didn't need to look into his mind to know he that was feeling hurt, relieved, and anger yet worried for Daisy.
"That's exactly why we're here. His GPS signal went out, so we came to his last recorded location and found it overrun with these guys." Mack explained.
We then heard a man heading our way, but before he could come in, Phil knocked him out. I still don't understand why both Daisy and Jemma are here though...
"James turned on us. He's working with the Watchdogs." Jemma informed us.
"Then it's a good thing we brought Robbie Reyes. Fight fire with fire. That's a saying, isn't it?" Phil asked as he looked around at us.
Before any of us could say anything, we heard a huge crash coming from downstairs. We quickly followed the noise to see both James and Robbie fall into a warehouse, which was filled with fireworks.
"Did two fire dudes just drop into a warehouse full of fireworks?" Mack asked
Phil wore an amused look. "You had to see that coming."
However as soon as we heard more noises coming from the warehouse, we quickly scrambled out of the store. As soon as we made it out, the entire shop exploded and the fireworks were released up into the sky. I released a sigh of relief. Thank the Force we made it out in time. It wasn't long until Robbie appeared from out of the shop unharmed, dragging James out with a chain. "You said alive, right?"
Once on the Zephyr, we put an unconscious James in the containment module. While Areria, R3, Ahsoka, Hilna, Kina, Jemma, and Mack were in the screens room near the cockpit, Phil and I went to the landing bay where both Daisy and Robbie were. Phil brought in his tablet, which contained a sketch of the book, which he told me was called the Darkhold. It reminded me of ancient Sith artifacts, which contained the most evilest things in the galaxies. I was working on research, already up to speed on everything. I carried my holopad with me as we approached Daisy and Robbie. Phil said nothing, so I spoke up. "I'm glad to see you, Daisy. Although I wish you hadn't left the team."
"Did Phil and the others fill you in?" Daisy asked.
"They did, but before I returned to the base I listened to all the calls you left..." I confessed.
Her eyes lit up. "You listened to all of them?"
"Yes, and I'm sorry I didn't come sooner. Had I heard them sooner, I would've returned." I informed her. "We'll talk more later."
Daisy nodded before looking over at Phil, waiting for him to say something but when he didn't, she took matters into her own hands. "Thank you for saving Simmons and I back there."
"You're welcome." Phil replied, keeping his eyes down on the tablet.
"Are you gonna...say anything else?" Daisy asked, sounding like a girl who was in huge trouble with her father.
"Nothing else to say. I'm just glad you're safe." Phil said in a nonchalant manner as he continued to look at his tablet.
"The Watchdogs are-" Daisy said, but was cut off by Phil.
