Once inside the factory, Phil scouted up ahead to find the exact spot Daisy and I described. However, I could sense something wasn't right.

"Just up ahead." May informed us.

"Something doesn't feel right." Daisy mentioned.

I nodded. "I've got a bad feeling about this."

"Nothing about this disgusting world feels right. It's hell, a digital hell." Jemma retorted.

"Radcliffe said the back door was in a public fountain, not some creepy steel mill." Daisy explained.

Jemma sighed. "If only the exit beacon I brought to this world worked, we wouldn't be in this mess."

"Yeah, well...if we're gonna get out of here, this is our last chance." I stated.

Phil then rushed over to us. "Found the location."

We climbed up the stairs to find the location to be a pool of molten steel. I mentally shook my head. This can't be it...Daisy shook her head, unable to believe this as well. "This can't be it."

"The coordinates lead right there." May replied.

Phil furrowed his brows. "Into a pool of molten steel? You think Radcliffe gave us bad info?"

"Radcliffe's a prisoner at Hydra. He's got no reason to lie." Daisy pointed out.

"Maybe someone else found it and took it." May suggested.

"The back door is part of the Framework's digital infrastructure. It can't be moved." I explained.

"But it could be concealed. What if Madame Hydra discovered the back door and built this place as a way to prevent people from passing through?" Jemma questioned.

"Wait a minute. What is this back door everyone keeps talking about? I thought we were here to take out Madame Hydra." Mack commented, looking confused.

I mentally groaned, remembering that Daisy and I didn't tell Mack about the other world.

"Let me guess no one told you about the other world." May retorted.

"The other world? What?" Mack asked, even more confused.

"So what does this mean for us?" Phil inquired.

Jemma sighed. "That there's no way out. It means Aida's won."

I shook my head as I grabbed onto the railing. "No, this can't be the end. She has not won. I refuse to believe it!"

"You seriously believe that there's some magical back door that will transport us to another world?" May asked in disbelief.

"It's not magic, May. It's science." Jemma corrected.

"Then where's your proof?" May shot back.

"We just have to trust Radcliffe." Daisy added.

"He said when a person passes through the back door-" I clarified, but was cut off by May. "That they wake up on the other side. This is what you really believe?"

"Admittedly, it doesn't sound great when you say it like that." Phil commented.

"You lied to me." Mack said, turning to Daisy and me.

"Mack..." Daisy began.

Mack immediately cut her off. "No, don't try to talk your way out of this. You're both damn liars. My daughter looks up to you two, and for what? So you can bring me out here on some wild goose chase?"
