~Storm's P.O.V.~
Ahsoka, Allie, Areria, Bruce, Kina, Maro, Maya, Nat, Otara, Padmé, Rhodey, R3, Typho, Stass, Surkea, Steve, Vision, Wanda, and I were all in another room, discussing what we'd do next.
"So we gotta assume they're coming back, right?" Rhodey asked.
"And they can clearly find us." Wanda added.
I wore a guilty look as I spoke up. "Sorry...that was my fault."
At my words, everyone turned towards me confused, and so I proceeded to explain. "I used the Force to see where the Soul Stone was...and it's how I found you guys. I'm so sorry, I had no control."
"How many times do we have to tell you, Storm? It's all right. It wasn't you." Steve assured me.
"Expect Echani and Corellian pastries." Maya teased. "Storm won't stop until she feels that she's paid for what she's done."
"Mom makes the best pastries." Padmé commented with a wide smile.
Otara nodded with a grin on her face. I hesitated before speaking. "...I'm sorry, it's just this whole brainwashing thing has happened before...My grandfather did the same thing that my cousins did, and it nearly ruined my life."
Steve placed a hand on my shoulder. "Hey, that won't happen again. We'll make sure of it."
I cracked a smile. "Thanks Steve."
"This is nothing like back home. You're not alone." Ahsoka reminded me. "You're never alone, Storm."
I nodded. "Thanks Ahsoka."
Ahsoka then placed a hand on my other shoulder giving me an encouraging smile. "We're family, Storm. And we'll always have each other's back, no matter what."
"We need all hands on deck." Bruce urged, changing the subject back to the more urgent matter. "Where's Clint?"
"After the whole Accords situation, he and Scott took a deal. It was too tough on their families, they're on house arrest." Nat explained.
"Who's Scott?" Bruce asked.
"Ant-Man." Maya elaborated.
I raised an eyebrow. "Ant-Man?"
Bruce furrowed his brows. "Wait, there's an Ant-Man and a Spider-Man? Okay look, Thanos has the biggest army in the universe. And he is not gonna stop until he...he gets..."
Bruce trailed off, trying to remember what stones Thanos has. I then stepped in. "At this point we have to assume the worst. Vision's stone is the only thing stopping Thanos from getting exactly what he wants."
"Then we must protect it, at any cost." Kina commented.
Vision immediately spoke up. "No, we have to destroy it. I've been giving a good deal of thought to this entity in my head, about its nature. But also, its composition. I think if it were exposed to a sufficiently powerful energy source, something, very similar to its own signature, perhaps... Its molecular integrity could fail."
Wanda then approached him. "And you, with it. We're not having this conversation."
"Eliminating the stone is the only way to be certain that Thanos can't get it." Vision argued.
Wanda shook her head. "That's too high a price."
Vision then placed his hands on her face as he looked at her. "Only you have the power to pay it."
Wanda was not having this, as she walked away. I understand very well...If my loved one was trying to sacrifice himself, I wouldn't allow it...I'd try to find another way. I'd do everything I could to find another alternative. Vision then spoke again. "Thanos threatens the universe. One life cannot stand in the way of defeating him."
