Daisy, Leo, Jemma, Kina, and I all went to Nadeer's office where Nadeer was killed while the others stayed behind. As we walked in, a agent from the FBI organization escorted us to the crime scene, not looking pleased at all. "I don't know what you hope to accomplish by waltzing in here with that logo on your jackets, but it's bad for all of us."
The press bombarded us with questions and photos, which we ignored as we reached a yellow line that the FBI put up. Daisy and I then towards Jeffrey, who looked anxious to help.
"You said you wanted to show the world what S.H.I.E.L.D. stands for." Daisy commented.
Jeffrey nodded. "Well, I was hoping to do that by solving this thing."
"We got this." Daisy assured him.
I then placed a hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry, you'll find your place. I just know it."
With that we followed the others into the office to try and figure out what truly happened. Daisy and Kina checked the security footage while I helped Jemma and Leo. Leo furrowed his brows. "How am I not finding any trace of bomb-making material?"
"Probably the same way I'm not finding any trace of accelerant." Jemma stated.
Leo sighed. "Has to be something."
Jemma nodded. "Clearly."
"And yet, there is nothing." Leo retorted in frustration.
"So, we take a bit of everything and test a bit of everything, old-school." Jemma suggested. "Like in the chem lab, at our old school."
"There's something we're missing...I can feel it. I just don't know what it is." I mentioned before changing the subject. "Anyways, I bet you two were inseparable at your school, just like you're now. How long did it take until you finally realized you love each other?"
Leo and Jemma exchanged a look before looking at me, rather surprised. I chuckled. "Oh come on. It wasn't that hard to figure out that you two are madly in love with each other. Well...I bet everyone knew, except you two. You're just like Gida and Tarom, it took them years just to confess to one another."
"How are they?" Jemma inquired.
"They're great. They got married, not too long after Loki and me. Gida and Tarom now have children of their own." I informed them. "They even helped Luke, Kina, me, Hilna, Zira, Ahsoka, and a couple other Jedi train Jedi, and form more Jedi academies across our galaxy. They truly miss you all, but they chose to stay behind to help Luke."
"And are you planning on going back?" Leo asked.
His sudden question took me back by surprise. I wasn't even sure myself. This was meant to be a vacation with Loki and our children, but that all changed when I heard my messages in my phone. Before I could say anything, Daisy then walked in with Kina.
"Guess who was seen entering Nadeer's office right before the blast?" Kina questioned.
"Cattle-prod enthusiast Tucker Shockley. He was with the Russians who took the Darkhold. And if memory serves, I quaked his ass." Daisy commented.
"Senator Nadeer was also aligned with the Russians." Leo added.
I furrowed my brows. "Why would they want her dead?"
Daisy shrugged. "Villain-on-villain violence?"
"If the Russians and Radcliffe have the Darkhold, they could have created a new, untraceable explosive." Jemma pointed out.
Leo groaned. "I really hate that book."
I nodded. "So do I."
"However they did this, if Shockley's not one of the three bodies in the morgue right now, he's our bomber. We need to find him." Daisy urged.
