Daisy whimpered as Leo moved closer towards her. "He didn't want to hurt you. Just like he didn't want to hurt Mack."

"Or Erol?" I asked.

Leo's eyes widened when he heard my words. He nodded. "Or Erol. But it's just I wouldn't have done any of this if I didn't believe it was going to work."

"You don't know it's going to work." I protested.

"The science is sound. There are always risks involved." Leo commented. "You know that, Jemma."

Jemma fought back her tears as she tried talking Leo out of it. "You're right, but potentially paralyzing Daisy or destroying the world are two massive risks, Fitz."

"Let's hope that that doesn't happen." Leo replied.

"No, no, no. Please, Fitz. Fitz, I am begging you. Please, you do not want to do this." Daisy pleaded.

Leo sighed. "No I don't. But I have to."

Daisy screamed as Leo used the scalpel to dig into her neck. We then saw her inhibitor being taken out as her powers returning, quaking the room. I felt her pain as she continued to yell out in anguish.

"I will never forgive you." Daisy retorted.

"I suspect you won't be the only one." Leo mentioned before giving her adrenaline. "The adrenaline will help jump-start your powers. Here's what you need to do. You need to compress the Gravitonium down as much as possible. Then carefully guide it over and insert it into the sphere."

Once Daisy finished the task, the robot deactivated itself. We were then able to successfully close the rift for once and for all. I felt terrible for Leo...I can't imagine what was going on in his mind. He had been through quite a lot in the Framework, and after that we were whisked away to a government base. And then to help the others, he had to act like Kasius and the others like Maya and me. And to him it meant acting like the Doctor, which he wasn't mentally prepared for. Hours later, I found Jemma alone, crying in the hallway. I wore a sympathetic look as I sat beside her.

"How are you feeling?" I asked.

Jemma shook her head. "...I don't know. I'm having trouble processing everything that has happened."

I nodded as I placed a hand on her shoulder, trying to comfort her. "I understand...it must be difficult. I can't imagine imagine what's going through your mind...or even through Leo's. But going through what something like Leo went through is traumatic. It requires time to heal."

Jemma looked over at me. "...How do you know?"

I hesitated. "...Because I know what it's like to believe that you are someone, when it's truly not you. Naexle Dooku...that wasn't just the name of the persona I took to disguise myself to rescue you guys. But it was also the name my grandfather gave me when he brainwashed me, making me his weapon. It left a pretty nasty scar."

Jemma's face softened as she gave me a sympathetic smile. I then added. "So, if you need anyone to talk to...I'm here."

"Thank you, Storm." Jemma replied.

At that moment, Deke then found us. He hesitated before speaking. "I don't know really what to say."

Jemma scoffed. "That's a first."

"I guess I don't have to ask how you're doing." Deke replied.

Jemma sighed. "I'm sorry. You didn't deserve that. You're a victim in all of this, too..."

As Deke sat on her other side, Jemma began crying again. "I just don't I don't really know how to process it. He's losing himself. I feel like I'm losing him, too."
