It wasn't long until a hologram of the Grandmaster appeared, announcing the main event of tonight's show. "And now, without further ado, it's main event time. Making his first appearance, though he looks quite promising, got a couple of tricks up his sleeve. I'll say no more, see what you think. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you...Lord of Thunder. Watch out for his fingers. They make sparks."
At his words Thor walked out with his long hair cut short. He had a helmet along with a small shield and sword. The Grandmaster then continued with his little speech. "Let's get ready to welcome this guy. Here he comes. He is a creature. What can we say about him? Well, he's unique. There's none like him. I feel a special connection with him. He's undefeated. He's the reigning. He's the defending. Ladies and gentlemen...I give you...Your Incredible..."
At that moment, the Hulk burst through the stadium wall and let out a mighty roar. "Hulk!"
My eyes widened. Hulk? He's here? Tony and the others were looking for him...and it turns out he's the Grandmaster's Champion.
"Yes!" Thor exclaimed, causing the crowd to go quiet.
I turned towards Loki to see a horrified look on his face. I knew what Hulk did to Loki, and it was scarring for him. Loki got up at once. "I have to get off this planet."
Before I could say anything, the Grandmaster reached us, stopping Loki from leaving. "Hey, hey, hey, hey. Where you going?"
Loki stumbled back as he tried to find words to form an explanation. Fortunately, I helped him out. "He was searching for you, Grandmaster. He wanted to make sure you were here to see the fight."
The Grandmaster made his way towards the couch as he spoke. "Well, that's quite considerate of him."
Loki glanced over at me, giving me a smile as he whispered a thank you. Loki then reluctantly sat back down next to me. I slipped my hand in his, giving it a small squeeze. Loki's smile widened as he planted a small kiss on the back of my hand. We looked back at the arena to see Thor looking up over at us. "We know each other. He's a friend from work."
The Grandmaster looked over at Loki suspiciously. Loki didn't even look back as he cleared his throat. Thor wore a grin as he waved at us. "Loki! Storm! Look who it is!"
"Who's that, mom?" Frigga inquired.
"I'll tell you all about it later." I assured her.
Hulk looked up towards us, somewhat confused. He narrowed his eyes when he saw Loki. However he gaze returned to Thor as he began to talk to him again. However Hulk ignored Thor as he commenced to fight him. Thor was left with no choice but to defend himself as Hulk pressed on. We anxiously watched as Thor hit Hulk, sending him back into one of the stadium walls.
"What?" The Grandmaster asked, rather baffled.
We watched as Hulk remained on the ground with Thor approaching him slowly as he extended out a hand towards him. The Hulk extended out one his hands towards Thor. I watched in awe. Was the Hulk going to turn back into Bruce? As soon as Thor put his hand on Hulk's giant hand, Hulk grabbed him before throwing him around like a tooka doll. I winced as Hulk flatten Thor, leaving him on the floor. Loki then shot up from his seat as he shouted out. "YES! That's how it feels!"
We all looked at Loki in shock. Loki let out a nervous chuckle as he turned to us. "I'm just a huge fan of the sport."
We watched as the tide turned. Thor sent Hulk flying towards the other side of the arena with his lightning powers. We watched in awe as the audience began to cheer Thor on. "Thunder! Thunder! Thunder!"
However before Thor could hurt Hulk any further, the Grandmaster pulled out a remote, knocking Thor out. I grumbled as I glared at the Grandmaster. That's totally not fair...however I remained silent, knowing that I could end up in trouble. Soon, soon we'll be off this miserable rock.
