"And hopefully not another." I replied, trying to remain hopeful.

"Mourn later. Right now, I need your heads in the game." May urged.

Daisy nodded. "I'm trying. Still feeling the after-effects of the Terrigen. It's like a hangover made of bees."

"That does not sound fun." I commented.

"I've seen what Terrigenesis does to people. What I don't get is how you can control your powers so quickly." May mentioned.

"I've had practice." Daisy replied.

May raised an eyebrow. "What the hell does that mean?"

"It means..." Daisy began.

I immediately cut her off. "You know what, let's not go there just now. Just keep moving..."

Loki helped me as he saw me falling behind. "Are you able to keep us?"

"I'll be fine...I'm just a little tried." I assured him, not wanting to slow anyone down.

Daisy then gave me a worried look as she slowed down along with Loki to remain closely by my side.

"The Resistance must have a base of operation. Where is it?" May asked.

Daisy shook her head. 'No idea. All I know is a time and place to make contact. We just have to get there."

"I know where it is. Follow me." Loki assured us.

As we travelled further, we saw more and more agents in trucks and on foot. This was becoming dangerous...

"We need to be more cautious. It's too risky on foot. We need wheels." Daisy urged.

"Not to mention, Storm needs to rest." Loki added as he looked over at me.

I waved it off. "I'm fine."

"No you aren't." Loki replied, wearing a worried look. "I know you're trying to not slow us down. But if you hurt yourself even further I won't be able to forgive myself."

I sighed. "Alright...I'm not a hundred percent, not even close to a hundred."

"We already committed treason." May pointed out.

"What's a little grand theft auto?" Daisy inquired.

We then saw a woman walking our way. However as soon as she saw us, she froze in horror before slowly walking back in the direction she came.

"You see that look?" May asked.

Daisy shrugged. "Maybe she's just racist."

"Or starstruck." I retorted in a sarcastic tone.

We then found an abandoned car, and we didn't think twice before hopping in. Loki and I sat in the back while Daisy sat in the passenger seat in the front, while May drove. Once we arrived, Daisy spoke up. "Are you sure the Patriot's dead?"

"I saw the building collapse on him. I have the body-cam footage to prove it." May responded as we all got out.

We hid behind a building as we heard a drone behind us. Once it went away, we quickly ran towards the door, knocking right away. It wasn't long until a man came out with a gun, pointed at us. "Get out of here."

"Hey!" Daisy exclaimed as she raised her hands. "Hey. We are friends of the Resistance."

"I know who you are. There's chatter all over the police band." The man replied, however he lowered his gun as soon as he saw Loki and me. "Loki, we thought you were dead. And you found Storm."
