My eyes fluttered open to find myself on a cold metal chair in a cell with nothing but a table and another chair on the other side of the table. I looked around, completely baffled and terrified. What's going on? I tried to move my hands, but they were trapped. I then glanced down to see my hands in handcuffs.
At that moment, the door opened. I glanced up in horror. I saw May with the patch of the Hydra symbol on her arm. What exactly happened here in the framework? She sat down down on the opposite, wearing a cold expressionless face with a file in her hands.
"May...it's me, Storm." I said, trying to get her attention.
"Great to see you aren't lying anymore." May retorted as she kept her eyes on the file.
I raised an eyebrow. "I was lying? What about?"
May sneered before finally looking up to glare at me. "Looks like I hit you harder than I anticipated. You were lying of your identity, claiming to be a woman named Veda, Veda Setalvi. You want to admit that Storm Ca'ana is your real name?"
I was surprised upon hearing her name. Out of all names, I used my mom's name...
"Well...it was until I married Loki. Then I changed it to Odinson." I reminded her. "I understand that you may have forgotten because I didn't invite you to the wedding, but I had no ill intentions."
May raised an eyebrow. "After you decided to remain with S.H.I.E.L.D. I couldn't give a crap of what you do."
I winced. That's a little harsh, even for May. "...May, you're a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, we're on a team together. You, me, Leo, Jemma, Phil, Mack, Yo-Yo, Areria, Kina, Ahsoka, Gida, Tarom, and Hilna..."
May was surprised at my words. "Do you even know?"
I furrowed my brows. "Know what?"
"Areria Skikea, Kina Ha, Ahsoka Tano, Hilna Ca'ana, Gida, and Tarom, are all dead, including your boyfriend, Loki." May rebuked as she slide me their files.
My face fell. They're all dead here? I began to panic, but I quickly reminded myself that this wasn't real. It's only the Framework, this is fake.
"Listen, I didn't come here to have a chat with you. I need answers. Where is the Patriot?" May asked in a demanding tone.
"Patriot?" I repeated. "You mean Jeffrey, Jeffrey Mace?"
May rolled her eyes. "Alright, now my patience is getting thin now. Tell me about the Patriot and about the Resistance now!"
There's a Resistance here? Oh Force, this feels like when I was transported back to my galaxy during the war. I shrugged. "Sorry, I can't help you. I don't know a thing."
Her face turned cold as she stood up. "I guess you'll answer to the Doctor then."
"The Doctor? Is that suppose to make me terrified?" I scoffed.
"You should be." May warned before grabbing my arm.
She then dragged me out of that cell and into a hallway filled with Hydra agents. What happened to this world for this to occur? She then pulled me into an elevator, which went up a few levels. Once the doors opened, she dragged me out. As we walked further down the hallway, I heard more and more screams. It wasn't long until we were face to face with Leo. He was wearing a suit, something I'd never seen. My face lit up. "Leo! Thank the Force it's you! It's me Storm!"
"It's Doctor." Leo corrected as he gave me a look filled with hatred.
I was baffled by his response. What happened to them? They're so cold...filled with hatred.
