Chapter 54: Going Back In Time

Once inside the Lighthouse, we made our way down the hallways. Daisy went up ahead, returning after finding there were no Kree. "All clear."

With that we slowly began to make our way down the hallways to execute our plan. Hopefully we leave this place soon. I can't wait to be back in our own time.

"Hopefully, we can say the same for Enoch." Leo commented.

"The diversion seems to have worked. They're still searching the ship." Enoch informed us through the walkie talkie.

"Good." Phil replied. "You're secure?'

"Yes. The machine will be online by the time Flint builds the Monolith." Enoch assured us.

"Easier said than done." Phil muttered.

"So one more time, the machine uses the little piece to trigger the bigger piece through space?" Deke asked.

Leo nodded. "Yeah, or time."

"It mirrors the harmonic resonant frequency of photons, which can exist out of space-time." Jemma added.

Deke looked more baffled than before. "Yeah, I I hear you saying words, but what what do they..."

"If Flint can't construct the Monolith, none of this matters." Daisy retorted.

"Robin says he can, so I believe it." May added.

"We'll talk him through, once we meet him." Jemma assured us.

"You five get that thing to Flint. We'll worry about survivors." Phil replied.

"And kill Kasius." Deke said with an eager look.

"And get them to safety." I said, ignoring Deke.

"And then we kill Kasius? When does that happen? Because some of us aren't getting out of here on a magic rock." Deke pointed out.

"We won't leave until humanity's in control of its future." Phil assured him. "But in the meantime, everyone do your job, meet at the rendezvous point." 

Deke, Daisy, May, Phil, Piecor, Allie, Maya, Ahsoka, and I went to free the Inhumans, while Leo, Kina, Erol, Hilna, and Jemma went to meet up with Flint who was with Areria, Typho, and Mack. As we walked down the hallways, we then saw a few Kree guards, while Phil, Piecor, and Deke freed the Inhumans, Daisy, May, Ahsoka, Maya, Allie, and I fought off the Kree guards.

"Let's go! Go, go, go! Get the Inhumans to the trawler!" Phil ordered.

"Guns, man! It's like cheating!" Deke exclaimed. "They shouldn't give these to anyone that's not a really, really good person."

"You think there'd be a law." May retorted.

Deke, May, Piecor, Ahsoka, and Maya left, guiding the Inhumans to trawlers. Allie, Daisy, Phil, and I were about to leave, when Phil yelled out. "Daisy!"

A man then appeared behind Daisy, attacking us with black blood dripping down his eyes. He had a knife in his hand as Daisy ducked, moving out of the way. Phil tried shooting him, but nothing worked. The man reached out to Phil, slicing his jacket. I quickly intervened, kicking him back across the hallway. However he quickly climbed back onto his feet before running towards us.

"What happened to you?" Daisy asked.

"Kasius freed me. I feel no pain." The man informed us as he struck.

He raised his knife, prepared to slice me when Daisy and I deflected his attacks, pushing him back onto the ground. Allie then stepped in, returning to her normal size before finishing him. She scoffed. "Did you feel that?"
