As I rushed down the hallway, I saw the lights on the ceiling flickering. I groaned. "You've got to be kidding me."

I could feel my heart thumping loudly in my chest, but I closed my eyes, reaching out to the Force for comfort. I then took out my lightsaber, prepared to turn it on. In a matter of seconds, I felt the presence of not just one of those creatures, but two of them. As soon as they rushed towards me, I ignited my green lightsaber, dodging their large blades. I climbed onto the wall before lunging towards the first marauder, taking him down with one swipe. Once I landed on the ground, the other marauder struck.

My lightsaber met his blade, colliding with one another. I used the Force, pushing him back until he hit a wall, knocking him out. With that I quickly made my way to the control room. Once I reached the control room, I found Phil, May, Kim, Mack, Yo-Yo, and Erol. They had contacted Fitz and Simmons through the computer screen.

"Sensors, the cameras everything's glitchy." Phil mentioned.

"You getting the same thing I am?" Mack asked.

"Energy fluctuations all over the Lighthouse? Yeah." May nodded.

"Which could mean they're already inside." Phil commented.

At that moment, Deke came rolling out a vent. "They're already inside!"

"We don't even know who 'they' are." Mack retorted.

"I do. The Remorath are marauders. They're intergalactic scavengers with no planet of their own, so they just take from others, and and wherever they go, darkness follows." Deke explained.

May furrowed his brows. "Darkness? That's a little vague."

"Well, it's not the concept of darkness, it's literal darkness. It follows them because they're magic, and they can see in the dark, and we can't, so it makes them kill us better with with their claws." Deke elaborated.

"Did you say claws?" Kim questioned.

Deke nodded. "Yeah. Did I not mention the footlong razor claws? Because, yeah."

"Yeah, and it's pretty vicious." I added.

They all turned towards me at once. So I decided to explain. "My mom faced one, and warned me how to fight them. And I managed to take down two of them, so you're welcome."

Deke was taken back. "You? You're only eleven."

"I'm twelve, Deke. And I'm only part human, so I wouldn't push it." I warned.

Deke scoffed. "You don't seem so tough to me."

"Have you seen his mother? You gotta admit Storm's pretty badass." Phil commented. "Not to mention his aunts, father, and uncle are pretty powerful and strong."

"Besides did you ever defeat one of those marauders you mentioned?" I questioned.

Deke mumbled, before speaking aloud. "...No. All right, so I may have misjudged you. I'm sorry."

"Okay, so how did you defeat them?" Mack asked, changing the subject.

"Well I was able to sense them through the Force, and I was able to defeat them by using my lightsaber." I explained.

Mack sighed. "Great..."

"Speaking of your mom, where is she?" Phil questioned.

"And Kina?" Erol added.

I let out a nervous laugh. "Yeah...about that. They aren't in the Lighthouse."

Mack raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean they aren't here anymore."
