Jack gave me his sweater as we made our way to the top of the hill with the Hollywood sign, I've hiked up here a lot growing up but never at night

we sat down and leaned against this rock, he put his arm around me and I leaned my head on his shoulder

"so now that we're here I have something to ask you, I know we already are kinda dating I guess but I want to properly ask you"

I looked at him

"will you be my girlfriend?"

"I don't know that's way too soon" I joked and he look upset

"Jack i'm kidding, yes of course"

his pout turned into a smile and he kissed me "well on another note please take isla to the stables when i'm at the lakers game with Jonah"

"I will" I laughed

oh my god of course i'm gonna come, you are like a mother/best friend to me and Tyson is my literal best friend, i'll come right now

I smiled and switched to texting my dad

I sat up in my bed, it was like 11 and I was still in bed but oh well, I called Jack

"hello?" he sounded out of breath

"hi, you running from someone?"

"i'm at the gym"

"ohh, well my dad is having Tonia, Tyson, and Lia over and it's a little family thing and they want you to come and meet them but like meet them as my boyfriend not my friend"

"okay, i'll get ready and come get you in like 15 minutes"

"okay"

he hung up  and I got up and put on a cropped white tank top, and navy blue adidas pants with nike x off white shoes

I left my hair down and did my makeup

I grabbed my airpods, my phone cord and my wallet and shoved them in the pockets of my pants and then walked out of my apartment

it was a quick drive

we walked into the house and my dad hugged me and Lia hugged me and then hugged Jack

Tonia rushed to me and wrapped her arms around me, I heard Tyson's footsteps run into the area I was in

I let go of Tonia and immediately picked up Tyson and squeezed him and he laughed

"you got so big in such a short time span"

he kissed my cheek and Jack smiled as Tyson reached out for him

"he remembered you" I smiled as I passed him to Jack

"hi buddy" he smiled

"Jack, Lia, and I are bringing Tyson to get ice cream, we will be back" I said to my dad and Tonia and they both nodded and went back to talking

we got into Jacks car and he put his hand on my leg as we drove

when we got there he got recognized by these two girls, they took a picture and they talked as Lia, Tyson and, I walked into the shop

after about 10 minutes I felt a hand on my back

I expected it to be Jack, I turned and Tye was smiling at me, I stepped away from him

"why are you here"

"well your little boyfriend finally left you alone and Lia and Tyson look pre occupied so this was the only time I could get you alone"

"that didn't answer my question"

"can I not come see you?"

"no you can't, like why would that ever make sense in your head"

"I need you to hear me out, I really do miss you and I want to get back together"

"fuck you"

"Bryden, I already did damage and i'm not afraid to do it again so cmon let's get out of here"

"what? what damage?"

"someone crashed into Jack for him to get injured, that's not a coincidence don't be dumb" he smirked and my eyes widened

Jack walked in and walked toward Lia and Tyson and not realizing where I was

"please leave"

"i'll text you" he winked and walked out

I walked over to the group and Jack put his arm around my waist
