Hello,
Welcome to my escape,
My secret hideout.
Come in,
Come join me,
Sit and chat awhile.
I'm just hiding
From the world
That waits outside
With bated breath,
Ready to pounce,
But no,
I'll stay.
They can't catch us here,
So stay for now,
Stay with me,
So safe and sound.
Pull up a chair,
Grab a good book.
I'll make a cup
Of tea or coffee,
Whatever you want
Because this
Is my safe space,
Our safe space,
The introvert hiding hole,
Where messages wait
On do not disturb,
And visitors...
Well we don't get many,
Not around these parts.
I'm hiding,
But is it hiding
If I'm just relaxing?
Relax with me,
Hide with me,
We can just be safe.
Come on!
It'll be fun-
Just put life on pause.
Sit here with me,
And we are safe.
