The first time a bunny died,
I never imagined how much it would hurt,
Until she began to haunt me,
Appearing in random memories and dreams,
Making sure I'd never let another bunny die.
Now everyone I love is a bunny,
And I suspect I am one too,
But I'm terrified that one day we'll all die,
And my world will be filled with the remains
Of innocent dead bunnies.
