Water,
Always in disguise,
Slipping in and out
Of every form we know...
First friend, then foe.
Slippery smooth necessity
Sliding into us

Into a cold cruelness
Easily sharpened, ready to kill...
Don't turn your back...
But then it's gone,
Dissolving into nothing,
Or so it seems,
As it hovers throughout-
A mysteriously cryptic ghost
Of a most curious being...
Water.
