Today you'll whisper lies
To everyone but me.
When I look in your eyes,
All I see is pity,
Pity for someone alone,
Someone who doesn't understand.
There are no hearts I own,
And I have no one to hold my hand,
But there's nothing for me to learn.
I understand love.
You've just made it a cheap gift you earn,
And that's something I won't be a part of.
This day makes me feel crazy,
Shaking me with pure hate.
Soon I'll let it go hazy,
As I zone out, trying to forget the date.
Why is everything so fake?
None of this is okay.
It's a pain I can't take.
How will I survive this day?
