Your Best Friend Doesn't Trust Him (Damien Lillard)

"All I'm saying is keep a close eye on him, he seems like a womanizer to me" your friend Y/F/N argued. You just sat back in your seat listening to your best friend lead her infamous rant against your new boyfriend of five months. It was the same every time you three got together. She would ask personal and loaded questions, he would lose his temper quickly, they would argue and you had to leave with either one of them, not able to get them to sit in a room together for more than five minutes. The way they acted like little kids started to get real old real quick.

Finally Damien showed up at the restaurant you agreed to meet at. "Hey babe" he greeted giving you a peck on the lips and taking a seat beside you. "hey Y/F/N" he breathed out obviously not in the mood for her attitude or questions. "Damien have you seen the new movie Temptation?" Y/F/N asked and you knew exactly where she was going with this question. "Actually no I haven't" answered Damien impatiently "You should see it. It'll teach you that loyalty, commitment and love is what makes a relationship work. You may think something better is out there but you can't get no better than the beautiful woman sitting beside you" . This wasn't what you expected, you expected for her to say something along the lines of you reap what you sow. That people aren't what they are cracked up to be.

"Y/F/N" Damien called "I know this. I know cheating is only going to end up in regret and hurt for all parties involved. I've been in enough relationships that went south real fast and real hard because of lack of loyalty and commitment. To be honest I'm tired of playing around I'm ready for something real" Damien said his voice the most serious you've ever heard it in the five months you two have been together.

"Well hot diggity damn" is all your best friend answered smiling at the two of you. "Now I feel like I can trust you with my best friend" she said smiling at the two of you and leaving.
