It's Complicated {{Yuliy X Reader}}

Photobook

A/N: this is a one-shot because I don't have enough motivation to write the next part yet.

A sunny day it was. The air was mild and there was no breeze, a perfect day for a Jaeger to rest. And they did.

Willard was reading a book outside; Dorthea, Philip, and Fallon were playing cards in their room; and Yuliy and (name) were taking a nap on the roof.

Everyone was doing something that didn't involve vampires and, honestly, it was a nice change of pace. The in peaceful air, Ryoko walked around in the halls. She was looking for any sight of Yuliy but didn't seem to find any; maybe she should check the Jaegers' room with the excuse that she wanted to say hi. Yeah, it sounds doable.

So with her little plan in mind, the brunette skipped her way to the designated room. It didn't take too long since she wasn't too far from said room- she was only a floor away. So when the wooden door came into view, Ryoko knocked diligently.

"Come in," Dorthea's voice chimed signaling Ryoko to open the door. Upon doing so, she saw the trio playing slapjack; "good afternoon, everyone. Um... is Yuliy here?" She asked as she looked around in search for the Sirius.

Noticing her searching gaze, Philip and Dorthea exchanged looks; "he and (name) are on the roof" Fallon turned to the brunette who's grin fell. '(Name)-san beat me to it again' she grumbled internally. Gazing off to the side, her chocolate brown orbs fell on something she never saw there before; a book.

The book was somewhat thick and had floral illustrations on the cover. Enchanted by the object, Ryoko picked it up "what's this?" Her curiosity peaked. Directing their attention to her, the group gazed at the book. Recognizing the book immediately, Dorthea piped up "oh, that's the photo album that we brought along!" She smiled.

"A photo book?"

"Yeah, it has all the pictures Dorthea's taken over the years!"

Philip came in the conversation with a small smile. The past memories when things weren't so complicated. Dorthea gave Ryoko permission to look through the photo book and to the teen girl's delight, she complied.

Placing her hand over the cover, Ryoko opened the album. Inside was a picture of a younger Willard, Dorthea and... Yuliy. Surprised to not see the others, she turned to the raven-haired woman; "Dorthea-san, where are (name)-san, Fallon-san, and Philip-san?" She asked.

Making her way to the teenager, Dorthea took a glance at the photo. "Oh, that was before we met them. Actually, this was the day I first joined the Jaegers- Fallon joined two months after me." Dorthea informed casually.

Ryoko nodded her head understandingly as she flipped a page where there was another picture but this time it had Fallon- he still had his gentle grin. There was another picture on the same page; Fallon has bear-hugged Yuliy who seemed to be struggling. Giggling, Ryoko looked to the next page; this time, there was a hooded figure. 

A click of a tongue could be heard from Dorthea, "ah, that was when (name) first joined" this surprised the brunette "what? This is (name)-san?" she questioned as she thought back to the (h/c) haired teen. Dorthea laughed "compared to four years ago, she appears different right? Well..." she pointed to the next picture. 

(Name) and Yuliy were fighting- pulling at each other to be more specific. Yuliy was pulling on her hoodie while (name) pulled on the collar of his shirt. Their expressions were hard as a rock, and in the background in the photo stood a facepalming Willard and panicking Fallon. 

"After a few months after (name) joined the Jaegers, her and Yuliy were partnered for a mission but failed in the end." Dorthea said; "ah, I remember that vividly. Yuily and (name) leaped at the vampire at the same time and crasheed into one another!" Fallon boomed before letting out a hearty laugh.
