Pietro heard Wanda's screams end as suddenly as they had started. When they brought her back to the cell though, she was unconscious. Instead of throwing her in, this time they set her in gently. He was so confused. But he knew he would be next. He was more worried now, after seeing Wanda's state. When the men came into the cell though, they said they were going to put him out for this test. For the sole reason that was, they found her screams annoying and didn't want to listen to his.

Heartless Bastards.

When he woke up, Wanda was sitting in her cell, with some wooden blocks they give to children to play with. The only difference was that they were floating in front of her. She had her hands out in front of her and was moving her fingers to levitate the blocks.

"Wanda?"

She didn't look up. She looked bewildered at the blocks and was fully concentrated on what she was doing. He called her name a few more times, but it was like she couldn't hear him. All of a sudden, he was ripped to the corner of the room. He stood against the wall staring at his bandaged hands. Then he was on the bed, then he was in the other corner, then he was in the middle of the room. This was it. They were promised abilities.

After a few days, they had gotten used to the power surging through their bodies. Pietro ran in circles, just admiring the fact that he could run at the speed of sound. He watched as Wanda levitated and destroyed the blocks they had given her. She could hear him now. They talked at night, but during the day they took them out of the cell to practice using their abilities. He would run and run all afternoon until he could barely stand. Wanda, on the other hand, was the most powerful. Her scarlet magic flew everywhere when she released it. It took her months to control how much magic she let go at a time. Then she practiced getting into peoples heads. She could control the way people acted, she could look inside peoples heads and she could make you relive your worst nightmares. It truly was incredible.

Most of what she could do was unknown to anyone but her. Sometimes she would tell him things like the fact that she can hear peoples thoughts and watch their memories. Everyone's head was an open book for her.
